ConFire is responding to a spreading, 1/2 acre grass fire in vicinity of Imhoff Drive & Solano Way in Concord.
Initial reports indicate propane tanks stored in the area are threatened and some may have exploded.
Please avoid the area to allow responders access to the area.
UPDATE: The fire has been extinguished. The blaze started in the vicinity of a homeless camp, according to the fire department.

The Homeless camps usually start fires every year in this location, as well as other locations along Walnut and Grayson Creek. Hope the goats didn’t end up on the BBQ.

please the actual homeless dont go any where near vagrant bum camps as they are inherently dangerous and usually violent

why cant these people taking all our resources ….giving nothing back
maybe clean the streets and road sides of trash …..for an ebt card
set those small yellow dumpsters out for 3 days and have them fill it with junk for a 20 dollar ebt card
now if this works …..and seems to be generating interest from those individuals the ebt can be increased as they are encouraged to keep their own area tidy …..
simple and better than just grouping up people and letting them break the laws and not be held accountable while throwing our tax money at them to clean up their mess
i know liberals are all about taxation without representation and abusing our taxes ……
