The health order says you can form a “social bubble” with up to 12 people in it, that you can be in only one bubble, and you have to stay in that one bubble for three weeks, before forming another social bubble. I have no idea how that would be enforced, nor do I see how that is any safer than hanging out with friends you trust have been taking precautions, and are asymptomatic. I’m sure it’s safer than the grocery store.
@Firstw – you can hang out with anyone at any time. I do this every day. However, I only do so outdoors in well ventilated areas and when hanging out we all stay at least six feet away from each other. Try to be mindful of the prevailing wind direction. If you need to be downwind of someone that increase the distance. It’s rare for someone to wear a mask.
Some women douse themselves with considerable amounts of perfume. If I can smell it then I’m too close.
@Chuckie’s Wife – One aspect of the social bubble rules that I’ve wondered about is they don’t say how long to wait after leaving a bubble before joining another. I would use 28 days (four weeks).
28 days is also the number health authorities are using to decide if an outbreak is considered to be resolved. It’s twice the incubation period for the virus.
I agree that the bubbles are not practical to enforce. Taking a commercial airline flight is a social bubble. Apparently if you can’t wear a mask for medical reasons then they can’t force you to use one. You show up at the airport and tell them you can’t wear a mask for medical reasons. While they may ask for documentation you are not required to show it per HIPPAA and ADA anti-discrimination rules. Of course, that loophole is now being abused.

Stop waiting for these people to tell you what you can do. Read the Constitution.
This is getting old. Open the county back up. Doesn’t make sense that some counties (Napa, Sonoma, etc.) have already opened. If people are afraid of catching the Covid, then I’d suggest you stay home.

As far as I’m concerned, the Health Department can go away now.
The further curtailment of people’s freedoms has nothing to do with health but all to do with control.
As I’ve said from the beginning, it’s all about power over the people by the government.
All restrictions need to end, now.

Do as you like! Who’s going to stop or question you?
Asking again, are we “allowed” to hang out with people who don’t live with us? Asking for a friend.
