That is not how that works at all, but thanks for spreading false information.
As this Chinese virus keeps hanging on we really need more information on how this is happening. If they are doing contact tracing then we should be told how it is getting passed and not just some vague explanation. The more we know the safer we could be.
@The Fat Cat
You say you understand the virus originated in China; however, there are some out there that don’t understand that or even realize where this Chinese virus originated, and EVERYONE needs to know that it came from CHINA. CHINA needs to be held accountable, someway, somehow, over time.
Confirmed cases of coronavirus are about equal to the number of cancer cases which should have been diagnosed since cower-in-place was enacted. And per Lancet, over 20% of people with cancer stopped their treatment because of the virus. I have no idea how many cases of hypertension, coronary heart disease, diabetes should have diagnosed during this time. Our County “Health Officials” refuse to discuss this subject and ignore a mental health crisis.
This cure is worse than the disease. And I think they are conducting clinical trials to determine if rioting and looting cure coronavirus.
A covid19 patient received a double lung transplant today. So even if you get it there’s still a way out.
As if anyone wants a double lung transplant and the accompanying years of medication and cautionary living that it requires.
Meaningless statistic.
Walked into a store today wearing my mask around my neck. Sign on the door said it was required. Clerk had his around his neck too. Neither of us cared. This bogus game is over.
Look at Texas, Arizona, and Florida Republican run states that were in a rush to open. There’s your future.
I sure hope so. The death rate in Florida has plummeted over the last month or so. Their new cases have been roughly level, averaged out, with maybe a bit of an uptick recently. Probably explained by mock more testing.
I’m not going to pretend I know what’s coming, or if we are making the right choices or not. But neither do partisans.
11 Arizona hospitals are at ICU capacity. Texas had 2,500 new case yesterday. North Carolina is considering a new shelter in place.
Well gosh, what you need is better sources for your information. California had 3,574 new cases yesterday.
An looking at Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation webpage for Arizona, appears they still have ICU beds available. Suspect small rural hospitals with limited ICU beds picked for story, sounds like they cherry picked data for a click bait story.

I watched Arizona Governor Ducey’s press conference today (because we went to high school together and played tennis together) and you are so wrong. Your comments are nothing but inflammatory rhetoric designed to ignite controversy. Do us all a favor and delete your Claycord account, please. You provide absolutely no value.
Original g you’re in denial.
COVID-19 in Arizona: State officials press hospitals to activate emergency plans
https://cronkitenews.azpbs.org/2020/06/08/covid19-in-arizona-june-8/
@Ozzie
I know the life of a fear monger can be busy. So I thought I’d find the link to the AZ press conference and save you some time.
At (10:20) Governor Ducey clearly states that they have enough hospital capacity, even without the surplus beds that have been saved for an emergency.
He also explains that cases have risen, but so has testing.

At yoyo. You mean a politician sats everything is ok
? Imagine that.
https://www.abc15.com/news/region-phoenix-metro/central-phoenix/banner-says-icu-beds-are-approaching-100-capacity
Banner Health’s chief clinical officer said Friday Banner’s Arizona ICUs were nearing 100 percent of licensed capacity, and hospital administrators were preparing to add additional beds to expand ICU capacity by 25 percent. All Arizona hospitals have been mandated by the state government to have surge plans to increase their capacity as much as 50 percent, if necessary.
@ozzie.
You just linked an article that referenced the actions of the governor of AZ. An article that spun the governor’s actions as if AZ hospitals were overwhelmed.
I replied with a link where the governor clearly states that they weren’t even close to capacity. Yet you choose to believe and push for a news outlet’s horribly distorted click bait article based on the exact same statements by the governor.
And then you insinuate that politicians can’t be trusted.
Who do you think you are helping by perpetuating this garbage?
Blah, blah, blah game over once the protest/looting started. With government officials attending full house funerals, walking with the protesters and encouraging the looting and protesting. The government can just shut it..
You are correct; game over. It will be interesting the next time our Governor tries to lay down new rules. He will be ignored, and it will be his fault not ours.
Newsom has started wearing a mask when out and about, but it is ill fitting and kept falling off of his nose when he talked. He didn’t have the mask pinched down over his nose, with big gaps on either side of it where air circulated in and out. How does he think that is going to do any good? He might as well not even be wearing one. I haven’t heard him say whether he has been tested or not. If he’s trying to set a good example, he’s failed, again.
How come we are not hearing about other countries now and there situation, months ago it they were plastered on the news.
You would hear about other countries if you read the newspaper.
Try the Daily Mail website.
New Zealand and Taiwan are at zero cases. Life goes on. They closed their borders to everyone. Taiwan was prepared ahead of time because of the SARS pandemic in 2003.
Excellent tidbit about New Zealand and Taiwan. Closing the borders is essential where pandemics are concerned.
@ Ozzie. They failed to mention all the illegal immigrants from Mexico that have covid that Newscum brought in to the US recently , to be treated at US hospitals. Which , of course inflated our “numbers” to keep The socialistic agenda going , Total BS !!! Especially when Newscum said he couldnt do anything about the protesters because of their 1st amendment rights but denied people from protesting the lockdown because of the virus. Complete total hypocrisy !!!
Not talking about California.
So Ozzie would like to redirect the discussion to the preferred narrative.
OPEN UP contra costa, only 355 ACTIVE cases! Let me choose if i am in fear of the 0.03% of the people that might get me sick.
Shelter-In-Place had us all reduced to “huddled masses yearning to breathe free.”
The one bad cop showed us all the true nature of what we were up against, as Mr. Floyd gasped “I can’t breathe.”
Game Over
@Mongoose – I’m guessing you are not one of the family members of the families of the six people that have died so far thus week in the county.

The total increased by 250 cases. There were 6 deaths in the past week.
There seems to be a current outbreak in one or more senior facilities. The numbers are not meaningless for residents of those facilities.
Shhh. these people only care or think it’s real when they are personally impacted, there is no empathy from people convinced this is all fake news. Once they or someone they love get sicks then all of a sudden it’s the Government’s fault for not doing more, and they’ll still blame the doctors and the libruhls.
