Several hundred protesters have peacefully gathered in downtown Clayton to protest the killing of George Floyd in Minnesota.
The protest started at about 4 p.m. on Ygnacio Valley Rd. at Clayton Rd. in Concord.
Around 5 p.m., the group walked to downtown Clayton.
The protesters were chanting “take off your riot gear, there’s no riot here.”
The Oak/Main St. exit into downtown Clayton from Clayton Rd. is currently closed.
