If anyone has anything they can contribute as to how this accident happened, please contact me @ deevee9412@gmail.com. We need help from stores who were in front of accident to get camera access. We would gladly appreciate it, since police won’t give us any information. Thank you .

I am so very, very sorry for your loss. God Bless you and all who loved him. I pray you get some answers on what happened.

It’s standard procedure for police not to release any information until an investigation is complete and you can bet that they’ve already tried to get footage from security cameras.

I’m so sorry for your family. More than likely the police don’t have much information to give you. Most businesses have cameras that focus on the business so they don’t really cover the outside or the street beyond their parking lot/front door.

Robert, you’d be surprised at how little effort the police put into investigations sometimes.
in my previous town a man was murdered. The police report said his shoes were missing, so the police speculated a homeless man had killed him. The victim’s family went to visit the crime scene, and found their relative’s shoes thrown in the bushes in less than 15 minutes.

Deyanira, the police will never care about this as much as you do. Keep pushing.

I would bet a medical event of some sort. RIP

I agree would agree, unless some malfunction of the car. I had an older Toyota Camry a few years ago, and all of sudden as I was driving slow on a side road, all the malfunction lights went on, and the brake didn’t work, nor the emergency brake. Fortunately I was going slow and stopped by driving into a wood fence, I totally freaked out, very scary. I was able to start the car up. and drove the few miles to my work, then called AAA to tow me home. After that the car seemed okay, my mechanic could not figure anything out, perhaps some electrical malfunction. Anyway I rented a car for the next few days, and bought a newer model Toyota Camry. I don’t think I would feel comfortable with an all computerized car.

Sorry for the loss to the family, hopefully they will eventually get answers from the police, they deserve that.

If your engine shut off then you lost your brake booster so you would just have to push really hard on the pedal. If for some reason you lose hydraulic fluid your parking brake is cable actuated so that will still work. You can put it in park too which should drag your parking pawl and won’t be good for the transmission but it will help slow you down. Lots of options besides driving off the road. Food for thought.

So very sorry for this loss. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of this b individual.
