Pleasant Hill Rd. between Taylor Blvd. and Gregory Lane will be resurfaced over the next several weeks.
Work starts today and will take about two weeks. Lanes will be closed at times, and detours will be in place as needed. Drivers should expect delays and take other routes if possible.
Most construction will be from 7:30 a.m. – 7 p.m., seven days a week. However, in an effort to reduce the impact on residents and motorists, there will be night work at the Gregory Lane and Taylor Blvd. intersections.
All work in this paving phase, including new striping of roadway surfaces, is expected to be completed by June 15.
Are you reading this CITY OF CONCORD????
They’re tone deaf and repaving is not in their vernacular. Oak Grove from Whitman to Treat is badly in need of repaving. I feel like I’m driving off-road when on that section. Why they didn’t just pave the whole thing when they paved from Monument to Whitman I’ll never know. Resources in place finish the job the first time Concord! Perhaps you can put more money into a fund to help people that are too lazy to get off their butts.
About 15 years over due. Where do all my taxes go…
Most go to calpers…
ONE mile per hour speed limit or less. GOT IT.
Paid for by Measure K, a half-cent sales tax, was approved by Pleasant Hill voters at the November 8, 2016 election
That stretch of road has been fubar for years. Most recently, the water mains there haven been breaking and flooding the street several times a year. They finally finished that repair and are now repaving the lot of it.
@mayor
You got any info on the repairs/construction on Denkinger?
