Mr. Mayor:
Thank you for keeping us updated so consistently, Sir!
I don’t jave time to check all the local news all the time, so this keeps us informed with the facts, not the hype.
I guess people have run out of comments. Thank you for posting this each day. Hopefully as we start easing up on shelter in place the numbers will stay flat.
The only numbers staying kind of flat are those in the hospital. There has been an increase of confirmed case every day which will continue to increase as more testing is completed. And yes I hate being stuck at home also…..
I have it under good authority that many many people are defying the order this weekend and going out socially and that is why there are less people online and less people in town
I would say you’re correct. I went to a store this morning and it looked like Black Friday 🙂
I’ve never seen so many people shopping at Lucky … ever.
As of May 2nd in CCC:
934 confirmed cases with 28 dead = 2.99% kill rate.
We need extensive, free testing of everyone to get more accurate numbers as related to the overall population.
I keep hearing that all deaths, from or with Covid19 are coded as deaths from Covid19. So if someone falls off a ladder and breaks their neck, and tests positive for Covid, guess what? Cause of death is Coded as Covid 19, artificially inflating the numbers. That happened in NY also, remember a few weeks back when they added 3500 additional deaths? Many of those were never tested.
@chuckies wife
This defies logic. Why would someone with a broken neck be tested posthumously for covid?
It’s hard going to stores when even the employees don’t follow social distancing guidelines
The stores weren’t set up for this. They would need to remodel and that’s not going to happen. Some stores put down one-way aisle arrows but people ignore them. At one store shoppers waiting for checkout are backed up into the aisles anyway trying to observe “social distancing”. This was even on a Friday morning though I think the rush this weekend was because people got their $1200. Same thing happens on paydays.
Folks have been asking here for demographics on those who died. I checked Seattle’s stats and they show the demographics on their site and it was overwhelmingly the elderly.
