Dang, Drunk at 10AM…. Sympathy to the family of the departed.

10 AM?????? DUI????

Terrible!! I’m very interested in who this person is. My condolences to the family. The accident had the whole yg/Clayton rd messed up. Should have had police directing traffic or something. Seeing the scene of the accident was terrifying. Not sure why this person was even out at this time and not at home. Never drink and drive.

We saw this just after it happened…wondered if the driver of the car was texting. Looks like the passenger side of the car went went under the truck. DUI at this time of day??? Wow. Stay safe, everyone.

with bars closed and the such, people being quarantined, indulging all hours may be taking place…

Ah man she suppose, to be place in shelter she broke the rule that NON essential!!! To be drinking and now driving

Not saying is what happened in this case, am making a general statement based on years of heavy drinking that ended 36 plus years ago and what I have learned since then.

Effects of night of hard partying don’t end at dawn the next morning. Takes body roughly one hour to metabolize one ounce of alcohol.

My thoughts exactly. I had a room mate / co-worker long ago who, on a couple occasions got blasted until like 2am, passed out and then rolled into work in the morning still clearly drunk.

Easy tell is if when you get close to a person and you can detect smell of alcohol / vodka emanating from them.
Guy I’m training came in after a late night party and he was cautioned immediately about one ounce per hour. With voltages we often deal with, a mistake will be your last.

That’s really a shame. Prayers to their family and friends. God Bless.

Doesn’t seem to be the issue on this accident but in general it seems many are treating the empty roads as their chance to prove their NASAR worthiness jumping in and out of lanes, accelerating into red lights, jumping off a line to get ahead of one car etc. Folks we’re all in this together, that roll of TP won’t matter if your dead or hit a family out walking to get their exercise.

Condolences to the family of the deceased.
I am between Clayton Rd and Concord Blvd – have heard so many racing motorcycles and cars. I agree with REAL.
Crazy times.

I saw it I got it on camera what a waste

I drove past the aftermath of the crash. Looked bad, I was hoping no one was killed. RIP

The passenger was killed. RIP 🙏🏼

Same old same ole. The less law abiding fools are even acting out more so these days thinking since no one is out that they can do whatever their little entitlement hearts want to do and break the laws even more so.

Just saying…… She will get a get out of jail card no doubt.

Sad the passenger died… the female should have been the one, since she was driving intoxicated. Then again, who knows if the male passenger had brains (or was also under the influence) to allow such a thing to happen…

Just saying–Shelter in place, stay at home. What in the hell were they doing in Clayton? Loss of a life and a DUI..So sad.

They may have been searching for toilet paper

If they tell you the name you may pass judgement about the ethnicity of the driver and they don’t want you say anything that everyone wanted to know.

Some leaked info: Driver 26 year old from Pittsburg, passenger 24 year old from Oakland.

Their ethnicity doesn’t make any difference to me and it shouldn’t to any of you either. So many people drink and drive, they could have been any ethnicity and who cares? One person is dead and yes, he should not have gotten in the car in the first place, so he shares some blame, plus the odds are good that he was intoxicated too. They had probably been partying all night. I hope she is charged with vehicular manslaughter. Thank goodness nobody was in the work truck. Can one of you who saw the aftermath of this crash tell me what kind of work truck was it that she it? Was it a pickup, a tree truck, a dump truck?

It was a white utility truck- unclear of any markings or name. There were work crews in the immediate vicinity. Im sure it belonged to them.

It was a large flatbed truck. They had been working on the road there for several days..all day. Might have been the water company. At first I feared a road worker got killed. So glad I was wrong. The workers had been in the right lane working a lot. So lucky none were in that position at that moment…a good reminder – when road work be cautious of the the road workers safety.

Drunk driving at 10 am??? At the very least this is a violation of Shelter in Place?

Remember, DUI doesn’t just mean alcohol anymore

The report says she was under the influence of alcohol. Curious to know if it was more than that.

Heard lots and lots of sirens just before 9:45am.
( I am on the corner of Ygnacio and Clayton.)
I was curious what was going on. Took a look outside and so many authorities there to help, thank you for your service today.
