QUESTION: If you were offered a free trip to go on a week long cruise right now, would you take it?

Talk about it.

Not this kid…I never would to begin with.

Nope. They were floating petri dishes before Covid. They will continue to be floating incubators after Covid.

Your kidding right?!

I wouldn’t go on a cruise if they paid for it!!

My wife is supposed to go on a cruise up to Alaska with her sister. I told her about stories I have read re: tragedies and problems in general especially with NOROVIRUS.

Not now, not ever. Spending time on a boat with a bunch of strangers, looking at a bunch of water isn’t my idea of a fun vacation, I’d rather spend that time at my destination.
“Whatever floats your boat.”

I’ve cruised before and enjoyed it but won’t do it now and probably not for a long while.

Nothing is “For Free” but I’d take advantage of that opportunity! Yes! I’m game.

Heck yes!

Nope. But, I wouldn’t under normal circumstances either. This is a nearly unregulated industry and no one I have ever spoken with made a cruise sound appealing at all.

No, not Now!

The only Cruise I will be going on will be in my gas guzzler smoking Cadillac.

No, thank you. Have no desire to take my vacations with 3,000 other people. I love to sail (wind driven on a sail boat) and bareboat cruises can be had at a reasonable price … just you, your SO, the Captain, and maybe a Cook. That is, if you don’t have your own boat and know what you’re doing which is preferable, of course. Pack your food, take along a skiff, some bicycles, and you’re good to go.

By canoe? Sure!

Cruise ships are as filthy as airplanes, in fact, any time of transportation is a means of getting infected by some virus, take Bay Area Rapid Failure (BARF) for example.

Frisco Area Rapid Transit

Oh yeah!

If the drinks are free then its a hell yes.
What a bunch of whimps. Where is your sense of exceptionalism and adventure?

No not me…not in the near future either….

Under current circumstances, no. Like airplanes, cruise ships have become too large, and pack huge numbers of people into relatively tiny spaces in order to maximize profits. Same goes for stadiums and large concerts. Nowadays many younger people go to huge concerts more for the experience than the music. One example of this is the large annual “Bluegrass” festival in Golden Gate Park. People then go home but never listen or learn to perform this genre of music.

No, but CA politicians should be first in line.

HeeeeeeeeeLL NO!!!

No, it’s not the virus, its the waiting in lines for evetything. I hate waiting in lines.

YES SIR. I’m not an old fart; I definitely can go.

I will never go on a cruise, I think they are gross.
