Concord Police arrested four people on suspicion of DUI while conducting a Saturation Patrol on Friday.
In addition, officers made 59 vehicle enforcement stops and cited 30 drivers for various vehicle code violations.
Funding for this DUI Saturation Patrol was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Unbelievable
Congrats
Thank goodness they catch these folks. I live in Rossmoor and believe it or not the cops give DUI’s to Rossmoor residents. I know because I was chatting with a cop from Walnut Creek because I got a warning for stopping real good, he gave me a not obeying a sign! Then I told him how nice the bar is at the Creekside restaurant, and going home is only a few blocks. I asked without saying I do that, Do you guys give DUI’s here. His response was: TRUST ME, we do all the time!!! Yipes
I meant to say” NOT STOPPING REAL GOOD”!
That’s sad. There should be a shuttle for the tipsy in Rossmoor
Should also check all lights are operative/tags are current/driver and passenger side windows are not blacked out. 70% of the light must be allowed to pass thru the windows. New law.
They’ll just use a “cop” out and claim that they have no way to measure the tint. Same goes with the Fully Tinted Windshields which are illegal.
