I don’t necessarily celebrate the presidents, but I do like President’s Day holiday.

Is there a reason why it isn’t played on Super Saturday?

No. If you want the day off after the Super Bowl, take a vacation day or a floating holiday. If you’re too hung over, call in sick.

Wow, what an ongoing but ridiculous question. Adults should act like adults and know they have responsibilities for the day after a sporting event. Grow up people

Just because many people get drunk &/or party too much is no reason to make the day after a holiday. Also there are many financial reasons the NFL won’t change it. One is, majority of fans arrive Friday and leave Monday. If the game was on a Saturday, that’s one less day of hotel revenue. And studies have shown most people prefer to watch games on Sunday, so a Saturday game would have fewer viewers (fewer people see the ads, hence less exposure, less revenue, etc.)
I didn’t watch the game, but I did take today off. But then, I take most every day off. If it weren’t for Scout weekends, I wouldn’t even need an alarm clock.

No. And i am a sports fan, but still no!
An excuse for kids to bail out of school (in addition to the other tons of winter holiday breaks most of them get) just because a football team won.
Nor is it a good excuse for adults to neglect their responsibilities of working for a living. In any case, most people talk about the game at work the day after, especially this year so you can vent with them in the office.

No that’s just stupid. Don’t drink so much. Just think of all the other events that will want to be on that list. It just doesn’t work for anyone that has a business.

As if we want to legitimize the drunken, misogynist orgy!! Hell ho. Their half time show was disgusting and terrible for kids and women. Like pigs in the pig pen. We have a hard enough time right now cleaning up our reputation as a country.
ABSOLUTELY NOT.
Even Aleister Crowley had issues with sports fanATICS. Now that’s saying something right there!
I’m not sure which sport Aleister played in, but I recall His jersey number was 666.
What’s next, the day after the World Series?
Ridiculous, not everybody celebrates sports.

Everyday should be a holiday!
That’s called retirement. Makes every day a non-job day.
No, but better to just rename today Whiner’s Day
No way.
Day of Mourning? maybe
Holiday? definitely not!

After you are done complaining, go and make me a sandwich.
“Should The Day After The Super Bowl Be A Holiday?”
Why?
NO! (For once I’m in the majority). 😉
It could be…just schedule before an already established Monday holiday
I say if your team wins or you live in that city, you get the day off. Your team loses…back to work!
I agree with previous poster. Move it to a Saturday.
Um no. Is this a serious question? I hope this isn’t being seriously considered anywhere…
Only if you are on the winning team.
Great, here we go, another (proposed) bank/school holiday, and no benefit to the rest of us!
I’m always down for another holiday. Everyone would get it; sports fans and those who don’t know the difference between a touchdown and a first down.
I’m related to people who don’t know the difference between a first down and a home run, but they’d like another paid day off.
Hell No!
No
Make election day a holiday.
