Contra Costa Cinema in Martinez is currently surrounded by law enforcement officers who are searching for a woman who they believe committed several robberies around central Contra Costa County on Tuesday afternoon.
The woman is believed to have robbed a bank, and and possibly a yogurt shop in Pleasant Hill and Martinez.
It’s unknown if the woman is currently inside the theater.
UPDATE: No suspect was located.

After the Alamo strong arm robbery, she was described as a white female, 30s, black Nike sweatshirt, black pants, escaped in grey Scion.
If I read the story correctly, she robbed a female victim in Alamo, but not the actual bank. The victim wasn’t harmed.

Isn’t it nice how the California liberal Demorat government turned our once beautiful, safe and quiet neighborhoods into crime ridden holes? Who is it that votes them into office? The Demorats from Newsome on down are truly the enemy of California’s honest responsible law abiding citizens.
I agree with you 100 percent. I am a Democrat too. Yes we are ruining our beautiful California with bad laws letting the criminals loose and not responding to the citizens protection. I am ashamed of the way too liberal laws are allowing chaos in our neighborhoods. This is my only complaint about the Dems. They are blind to the needs of the innocent.
I also think people need to earn a roof over their heads and not expect the government to provide housing. So now I have two reasons I am ashamed if the Democrats.

Yes Russ. If the Republicans were to regain California (and I don’t see that happening any time soon), they will continue to blame the Democrats for the stupid laws they have put in place, at least until they can get them removed and restore sanity to California.
No, crime will not disappear, but there will be a penalty for committing it! It will take time to turn around the Democratic train. But, at some point, crime would fall back into place and stabilize.
If you can’t see that crime has risen significantly with this “soft on crime” approach, you are truly part of the problem!
The bank robber on the previous post only got 8 years with the feds for numerous robberies. If my math is right, this person will do a weekend in jail and the state of California will apologize.
