Concord Police arrested two people on suspicion of DUI while conducting a Saturation Patrol on Friday.
In addition, officers made 46 vehicle enforcement stops and cited 13 drivers for various vehicle code violations.
Funding for this DUI Saturation Patrol was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Great work CPD! 2 drunks off the street.
It’s gonna cost them $10K before it’s all over.
Just not worth it.
@Anon, I think Noj means it will cost those arrested 10 G’s.
Awesome. Two more losers who care about nobody else but themselves.
again with 2….
Just remember that you aren’t supposed to be saturated when you go through a ‘saturation point’. Total cost, including increased insurance is probably close to $20,000. So go to Safeway and stock up/drink up at home, or use Uber/Lyft. “We have the technology!”
They are saturation patrols…not check points.
