Three people were arrested and two stolen vehicles have been recovered in Pleasant Hill within the past two days, according to police.
On Tuesday afternoon at 2:50 p.m., officers located a stolen black GMC truck parked on Elaine Dr. Police conducted surveillance on the vehicle until two suspects entered the truck. Officers quickly apprehended the two suspects and recovered the outstanding vehicle.
Then, this morning at 9:20, officers located another stolen vehicle (green Honda) traveling on Buskirk Dr. near Hookston Rd.
An officer attempted to stop the vehicle, which briefly attempted to evade the officer in the parking lot of the Extended Stay hotel.
The driver then abandoned the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot behind Best Buy, where he was caught and arrested.
Police did not release the names, ages or city of residence for any of the suspects.
Good job Pleasant Hill PD. You’re the only department in the Bay Area that does good police work and aren’t corrupt.
I will take your word for it. Must be true. So many departments of government: city or federal are corrupt. I get tired of seeing that that. So thank you Pleasant Hill PD. Good job. Hope other’s follow your example.
@traumarx
Without the police you would be a victim.
@ Popcorn
Wow! Not many would admit that they “take the word” of Trauma! Shows where you’re coming from! Guilty by association goes a long way on Claycord!!
The “only department in the Bay Area that does good police work and aren’t corrupt.”
Therefore, you’re saying that ALL law enforcement agencies in the nine Bay Area counties are corrupt and NONE of them do “good police work.”
Then I suggest that (a) you provide proof of that and (b) don’t bother calling ANY law enforcement agencies in the SA Bay Area for any assistance – except for PHPD.
Using your logic – From NPR…. A study by researchers at Johns Hopkins Medicine says medical errors should rank as the third leading cause of death in the United States — and highlights how shortcomings in tracking vital statistics may hinder research and keep the problem out of the public eye.
The authors, led by Johns Hopkins surgeon Dr. Martin Makary, call for changes in death certificates to better tabulate fatal lapses in care. In an open letter, they urge the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to immediately add medical errors to its annual list reporting the top causes of death.
Based on an analysis of prior research, the Johns Hopkins study estimates that more than 250,000 Americans die each year from medical errors. On the CDC’s official list, that would rank just behind heart disease and cancer, which each took about 600,000 lives in 2014, and in front of respiratory disease, which caused about 150,000 deaths.
And given TraumaRX’s commentary on law enforcement, I would recommend that any law enforcement officers in the SF Bay Area NOT go to wherever she/he “works.” The only way you’ll leave is via the coroner’s van.
Settle down, Fred, and just be glad you aren’t the cop that was once married to this troll.
Former stock trading seatbelt worshipping gender neutral nurses all over the world are sleeping easier tonight. A big thank you to Pleasant Hill PD.
I wish this article said the fleeing suspect was arrested when a K-9 officer took him down after a brief foot chase.
Nice job PHPD, as usual!
Been watching you for years – you’re quiet and low-key, but you get results and you never disappoint!
Great department.
It is about time that a local police department steps up and stops letting the criminals and entitlement crowd, liberals throughout California and the nation run us into the ground. Good jobs PHPD. How about Concord and the other surrounding areas in COCO step up.
By the way, how come only Brentwood has a repeal Newsome petition going???
Nice work PHPD. Now let’s see what the DA does.

That’s a joke Right?
Can they prove the doors were locked when the cars were stolen? We need more cops like Harry Callahan on the streets.
I’m curious about why there were 4 cops at Wendy’s on one vehicle on Tuesday Night and approximately same timenwhy there were 8 plus vehicles in the area of contra costa.blvd between monument and willow pass. with about 4 vehicles, 5 officers in front of the liquor store and laundromat, another down by the. reek and some on the other blocks. wondering if they were robbery suspects as well
Great job
Not from Pleasant Hill, I can tell you that.
Salty here…
There goes the Trauma momma spewing garbage again. All the agencies do their best to combat the criminal element. Calling all corrupt shows how narrow minded you are. You must have been through the system to have experienced ANYTHING..
Salty OUT !!
Salty here..
Applaud @ Sign From Above.. Very much doubt Trauma being anything in a hospital that would involve medical education. Probably just a orderly or candy stripper.. Maybe even one of those fake security guards at the door.
Salty OUT !!
