There isn’t much solace in being #2-Hawaii should be the most expensive due to location.
Don’t let Sacramento know.

Obviously, our gasoline prices are so high because of the massive transportation costs needed to move gas from Martinez and Benicia all of the way to Concord and Pleasant Hill.
We currently pay 61.2 cents per gallon in state and local taxes. This is on top of the 18.4 cents per gallon in federal taxes.
Think of this the next time Sacramento wants to increase YOUR fuel taxes.

Arco on Willow Pass price is $3.29, another station on Willow Pass $3.27. Had to go to Walnut Creek the other day, Tice Valley Road, there is I remember correctly it was $3.69 or more, so it depends a lot where you fill up. I recently transferred from a job on the Peninsula (Palo Alto) to SunValley Mall, since it now only take me 15 minutes to get to work, as opposed to more than 1 hour, gas price is not as much of an issue for me as it use to be.
Sick of it

And this is supposed to make me feel better. Still have to use Vaseline when gassing up the car so it doesn’t hurt so much being taken advantage of by our idiots in office

Since California pulls oil out of our ground and refines gas right here, our gas SHOULD be cheaper than most states. Crazy regulations and sky-high taxes are the reason gas is so expensive. If you like high gas prices be sure to thank a Democrat!
Yeah…jump for joy….we can now “celebrate” since we dont suck as much as one other state out of 50. We can now chant “We’re #49! We’re number 49!” instead of “We’re number 1!”. What a low bar we set for ourselves if that’s what we celebrate.

California is #1 in homelessness! We are leading the nation and setting an example. It’s a bad example, but an example nonetheless.
We paid $3.29 at Cost co in Kona
