A man tried to arrest the mayor of Martinez Thursday afternoon and after a tussle was arrested on suspicion of battery, police said.
Eli Dominguez allegedly tried to perform a citizens arrest on Mayor Rob Schroder at 3:21 p.m. in the 600 block of Main Street, Cpl. Craig Schnabel said.
Officers arrived and Dominguez allegedly bit a sergeant, who ended up seeking medical treatment for the bite. Dominguez was eventually detained and taken to a hospital.
Police booked Dominguez in the county jail on suspicion of battery on the mayor and an officer, threats and a probation violation, Schnabel said.
Hopefully, the ‘hospital’ they took the perpetrator to was the looney bin.
I wonder what he was trying to arrest him for.
You know what you call this. A good start.
There’s no mentioned of why Eli tried to arrest the mayor, only that he assaulted a law enforcement officer called to the scene. I guess you support anarchy and vigilante justice and think that’s what this mass of humans on the planet need. Methinks you don’t.
Deposing a kleptocracy ≠ promoting anarchy.
Oh, kleptocracy! Good word. I’d wager you haven’t figured out how to get ahead in the market system the whole world uses to live comfortable lives. i did all right and will defend with great vigor and furious anger anyone who tries to rock the boat. The haves have because they can; the have-nots never applied themselves to playing the game. Tough beans, baby!

His youtube rant
Thanks!
I enjoyed the part of the collaboration between the Martinez PD and the Freemasons.
I have no idea how Freemasons get any sleep given everything they’re involved in – LOL
He even blames the Moose Lodge, what a Jackass…Lock him up !
I see that he went to the hospital. Must’ve had to endure a bit of a butt whooping?
How’s that Sanc-tu-ary city workin’ now???
Maybe do something for the Taxpayers…..like the 2009 railroad Quiet Zones.
This guy is 5150. But, I always loved hooking up elected officials and celebrities.

So many of these angry people who assault others have one distinctive facial feature in common, lines (or more accurately depressions) coming down from either corner of their mouths that join up with a line or depression that runs across their chin, below their lower lip. It creates somewhat of a rectangle under their lower lip. I’ve seen it again and again.
What a loser.
Being a rambling loony is not grounds for a 5150.
@Gittyup – phrenology was popular in the early 1800s but was debunked and discredited by the mid-1800s.
I don’t think he was talking about phrenology. He was talking about facial features.
Did you know a crease on the earlobe is predictive of heart disease? I read that somewhere..
I’m familiar with phrenology, and I had heard that also about the earlobe crease. This is something different from phrenology which involves the bones in the skull. This appears to be muscular. It’s a hardened pout of sorts, or muscle tic in the lower lip that creates a half rectangle with the lower lip completing the uppermost part of the rectangle. This guy has one also, but I’ve seen them more pronounced on other arrest photos on Claycord.

Might just be a coincidence, but I sure see the lower lip thing a lot in these arrest photos.
Let me guess: He spends most of his time on BART riding the rails…….
