Officers from the Concord Police Department arrested one person on suspicion of driving under the influence while conducting a DUI Saturation Patrol on Saturday.
In addition, officers made 36 vehicle enforcement stops and cited 13 drivers for various vehicle code violations.
Not much of a take. May have been hindered by resources diverted to the unfortunate shooting. Me, 23 arrests in one day.

Big deal, my buddies, Norman Wielsch and Stephen Tanabe arranged a bunch of DUI arrests.
Thank you!
There is no way you made 23 on view DUI arrest in one day.
One DUI takes several hours to complete with the FSTs, CHP180, Interrogation, Admin Per Se, Order of Suspension, Temporary licence, Citation, pre-booking and booking and God forbid if you get stuck at the jail behind a transport. Longer still if you have to write a warrant for blood and/or wait for a Phlebotomists and then there is the report itself.
In fact, I don’t see how its possible to make 23 arrest by yourself in one day period unless your only involvement in the arrest was being in a picture standing next a prisoner at a mass arrest.
Beats my record. I’ve never been arrested more than six times in one day.
Don’t throw your elbow out patting yourself on the back there hero.
I have no idea if you could arrest 23 DUI suspects in one day, but you could make 23 arrests in one day (for anything) if you arrest several suspects at a time. Jeff also says he patrolled the Los Angeles area. LA is the largest city in CA. Life in the big city.
yeah… jeff lost some credibility points with that one
