As much as I hate crowds and shopping in general, I’d rather go to a store. There are several reasons for this. I like to see, touch, and feel an item I’m buying and compare it to other similar items, and I’d like to see most retail stores stay open rather than go out of business due to online shopping.
I shop online for 90% of everything I purchase every day including Holidays.
Traffic, parking and rude people (customers and store employees) have taken all of the joy out of the experience.
Being the stubborn and smelly old goat that I am, I’m sure most people are delighted that I shop online too.

I don’t have any shopping to do. My rels gave up years ago on exchanging gifts since we had no clue what anyone wanted and if we did outside of our budgets. We gave gift cards for awhile but even that got old. Better to just enjoy a nice dinner.

Online. It’s easier. You can compare deals. There’s free shipping. You can usually receive your item within a day or two. You can ship to a locker. There’s no crowds. You can shop anytime from your computer, laptop, tablet, or phone. Gift wrap and gift receipts are available. You don’t have to deal with parking. You don’t have to deal with waiting in lines.

I often do it backwards. I’ll research extensively online, but actually BUY at a brick and mortar. One reason is, everybody usually has the same price, and modern shipping is quick and wonderful, but it can’t beat going to the store and having it in twenty minutes. Also, there are stores where I can buy it on their website, or in their store. I want the money to route through the local store so corporate can justify keeping the store open. I’m going to buy from them either way, but I don’t want Claycord to be a retail wasteland with thousands of Amazon vans driving around.

Gift cards for all, shopping is complete in a matter of minutes. Then everyone can get what they want.
Ace Hardware on Clayton Road was rockin’ … had a 50% of rewards coupon. I prefer hands on shopping to anything online. It’s an adventure.

I like to shop for a variety of products on one trip. Unfortunately, too many stores do not answer their phone to tell me if they have what I’m after. I find that online shopping is the easiest, although I don’t like the risk of porch piracy. I offset that by having the package sent to the office. Returns are a pain but infrequent.

Online. Much better selection, better deals, more convenient, no parking, no crowds, no gas, less time consuming, free shipping, etc. You can also read several reviews, which you can’t do in the store. Shopping in the store can’t compare to shopping online. There’s a reason online shopping is so popular, especially for those of us who lead very busy lives, and have spent more than enough time shopping in person.

100% on line. Tired of driving to various stores only to find what I wanted is gone. I love Amazon and get my stuff the next day. No hassles with traffic or parking.

I just did mine at the store. I do both, sometimes online and sometimes in store. I avoid most of the major stores because I can’t stand crowds, long lines and parking. Either go really early or before closing to avoid some of the crowd.

I don’t really do a lot of Christmas shopping (Bah! Humbug!). If you want to buy Made in USA, however, you almost have to buy on-line. Retailers are not really into that sort of thing.

Agree also. And keep real people working instead of various programs.
Agree!

Wherever I get the best deal. Probably 50/50.
