Power has been restored to a majority of the terminal complex after a major outage at the Oakland International Airport tonight.

Staff continues to work to bring the entire facility back online, according to an airport spokesperson.

Dozens of flights have been delayed, but so far, none have been cancelled, according to the airport’s website.

I’m waiting for my daughter to return from NOLA to Oakland airport. They were diverted to Las Vegas 🙁 I hope she gets home soon 🙂

Woohoo, her flight has arrived 🙂

Currently here. Flight originally scheduled to leave at 9:55, pushed to 11:55 currently, but I’m the lucky one. Many (at least 9) cancelled, from what I’ve heard/seen in the Southwest terminal. Backups at TSA were insane, snaked all around baggage claim.
