Awwww…what a shame. Rest well Mr. Gertz

Ditto,…only if we all could be health enough to live that long.

After being around for 101 I hope he didn’t suffer.

Sad. When I think of Rossmoore, think of a safe almost perfect retirement community. I wonder if anyone tried to check on the 101 year old gentleman during the fire. I assumed he lived alone.

So sad 😢

R.I.P. I will be interested to know how this fire started and definitely won’t be blaming the victim, especially rude to speculate.

Poor man, may God rest his soul.

So terrible. At this age, for certain he was probably not able to move very fast. They dont like to go to assisted living but someone should stay with people who cant get out fast enough. So sad for him. <3

Very sad. At that age, the best you can hope for is that they pass quietly and peacefully in their sleep when the time comes. To live that long with all the things that can go wrong and die because of something that might have been preventable, it must be a heart-wrenching loss to the family and friends. Sincere condolences to them.
