A Sheriff’s helicopter is assisting Concord Police in the search for armed robbery suspects in the area of Clayton Rd. and Ygnacio Valley Rd.
A perimeter has been established by Concord Police, and a police K-9 is also on scene.
The men were wearing dark clothing and had masks over their faces. They also had handguns.
It appears the robbery was at the Days Inn, but that has not been confirmed at this time.
The suspects were last seen running on Clayton Rd. towards Ygnacio Valley Rd./Kirker Pass Rd.
UPDATE: The helicopter has left the scene. Police are still searching for suspects. A vehicle was pulled over near Clayton & Kirker, but it’s unknown if the suspects are inside.
Did they catch the SOBs?
They ought to be easy to catch because they are dumb. They robbed a Days Inn where most of the transactions are with a credit card. It is sad such low brow idiots have access to guns.

Hopefully they were not there to Rob the guests and they get caught. Was there any video of them?

Concord Police need to survey the business, their cash handling and layout of office. Something is attracting the criminal element.
