Just abolish the BAAQMD. No more complaints.

Problem solved and I just saved us $252 million.

Ever notice how BAAQMD expenditures increase every single year?

Hear, hear!

Wonder if they would be offended to know many, many people think they are a farce?

Or maybe a small but very vocal handful.

I might attend just to learn a few more ways to defeat their bogus policy. My position: when they start banning ALL the other activities that produce particles of 2.5 microns (diesel trucks, construction sites; certain manufacturing) on STA days, I’ll stop burning my EPA certified clean stove.

Like I have said before, there will be no end ever to their nutty crazy rules and regulations as that would put them out of a job.
Any company that operates the way they do by inducing the public to turn in their neighbors, friends or co-workers for a smoking tailpipe or other infraction is on the bottom of my list of places I would want to work for.

Learn to be a rat.

WC………I don’t care to be of the morally bankrupt crowd aka useful idiots.

Can I file a complaint about the air pollution China is exporting to California. If Sacramento really wanted to do something about air quality they would refuse to let any ship carrying cargo from China to off load in a California port . Until China achieves compliance to CARB standards.

As a matter of fact, I called BAAQMD one tine to report a local business that wasn’t practicing dust control. They told me to call the business and discuss it with them. From what I can gather, then, they only pick on individuals.

So, now they are teaching people how to rat out their neighbors. BAAQMD must be so proud of themselves. Wasn’t that method the hallmark of Nazi Germany. It’s not surprising godless liberals would adopt the worst history has to offer. They’ve codified it as their bible and titled it, “Politically Correct.”

Commies. Eat my soot!

I agree with your sentiment but unfortunately, it’s your neighbors who end up eating your soot. Now, if you knew a Board member and transported a load of your soot to their neighborhood, perhaps you would have your revenge,

Thank god for BAAQ. In my area winter air, particularly after dark, used to be absolutely toxic with thick wood smoke, I mean brutal, and in summer people were burning trash in the daytime. I’m talking Dana Estates and surrounding neighborhoods between Clayton Rd. and Willow Pass Rd. Infinitely better now.
