A Spare the Air Alert for smoke throughout the entire Bay Area region has been issued for today, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District said.

“Currently, smoke from the Kincade Fire and other local fires is mostly being pushed over the Pacific Ocean due to strong winds or is aloft over the region – localized impacts closest to the fire continue,” the air
district, noting that winds are expected to shift to the northwest starting Monday afternoon. Smoke is expected to impact the entire Bay Area, especially the North Bay, San Francisco and the East Bay.

“Air quality is expected to be unhealthy Monday due to smoke from the Kincade Fire and potentially other local fires,” said Jack Broadbent, executive officer of the Bay Area Air District. “It is critical that
residents follow evacuation orders and instructions from local health officials to protect their health.”

Not too bad this Monday morning but I went outside about midnight last night and the smell was acrid smoke. Not normal vegetation smoke but hard to breath type smoke.

No need to fire up the Smoker. Just lay it outside. Yum Yum

Exactly. Last night I was thinking I should have a couple of slabs of ribs to hang outside.
