The Lafayette Tennis club on Camino Diablo, just east of Pleasant Hill Rd., has burned down.

The tennis club building is a total loss, one outbuilding received damage and a residential structure had minor damage to the roof, according to Con Fire.

Forward-progress on the fire has been stopped by firefighters, but all evacuations are still in place.

Poor Hunter. This is devastating news. Why is this happening, these random fires? I pray this one doesnt spread.

This is too many fires. I’ll bet some of them are arson.

Another one in Martinez now, all close to the freeways. I agree. There is no power in Martinez and I thought this area of Lafayette also had no power.

Do you know for a fact that this fire was caused by power lines?

Who said wires or PGE started the fires? I don’t see that in anyone’s post???

It was in the reports that it was due to a downed power line

Yes, how do you know PGE started this? Typical mentally these days. Blaming and pointing the finger. And not knowing facts. Just opinions.

Evacuation LIFTED for Lafayette per Robocall @ 4:41 PM.

You may return home.

PG&E looks to have caused this mess as well…

NO WHERE does it say PG&E started it. If someone finds something, let me know.
