The boundary oak tree, which served as the inspiration for the name and logo for Boundary Oak Golf Course in Walnut Creek, has fallen.

The historic tree fell during today’s wind storm.

Oh, how sad.😢 These are such beautiful trees. They used to be all over the place, in all different sizes. There was a big one behind one of our homes when I was in JH school. We have so few of the giants, or any size anymore.. I miss them a lot. I like to visit the big one on the Kaiser WC grounds. I wonder how old this one was.
