Have you ever used a food delivery service such as Door Dash or Uber Eats? If so, which one did you use, and did your food arrive safely and on time?

Absolutely not. I cook at home and will avoid cardiac arrest.
No! They are killing the restaurant business and can be snacking on your food.
Use Door dash frequently. Always prompt and delicious. No matter where I get it from.
I haven’t yet at my house but have been at friends and they’ve used it.
I figure I’ll start using soon as the convenience while working, etc… would be worth the extra cost.
With pretty much, any type of food you want available from very healthy places to fast food limiting factor shouldn’t be the lack of options.
Sure..Door Dash. Quick. Easy. to order And worked very well. Food was on time as mentioned. Well packed. And you will not die.
I used Instacart once for groceries because I was too lazy to put chains on my car.
HEADS UP: Many times when one orders directly from Door/Dash they post a menu that may not be complete. They also give an item price above the restaurant’s menu. // One restaurant told be to call them directly first and ask if they will set up the door/dash. Then you order directly from the restaurant, from the real menu, and don’t get over charged.

We tried using Chipotle’s Door-Dash service once. We ordered online at 5:30 pm and looked forward to receiving it by the promised 6 pm; we’re early risers so eating on time is important to us, and 6 pm worked well with our plans and gave us a day off from cooking.
It didn’t arrive until 8:30 pm when a non-English speaking man rang our doorbell. We’d already long since eaten something else and had just gone to bed, so I refused the delivery. He rang the doorbell again and I told him to go away. I found the delivery on my front porch the next morning. Fortunately, Chipotle refunded our purchase fully.
I’ve used Grub Hub a couple times. Mostly it works GREAT! I love it for ordering food while stuck at soccer fields from 4 pm to 7:30 so that the kids can eat between practices. Normally we eat at home so this is kind of a fun way to treat the kids. They look forward to ordering the food!
One time I ordered from Sauced and for some reason they had a hard time finding a driver, so even though it was scheduled to arrive around 6:30 it didn’t come until closer to 8. Ah well.
Door Dash is excellent. If we ever have a problem the issue is with the restaurant and not the Door Dash service (example: an order of Chile Verde from Cinco de Mayo on Concord Blvd came without tortillas…when I called the restaurant they said that I had to separately order them).
I have never used Uber Eats but Door Dash works best for me.
Former GF used to order via DD occasionally. Was fairly prompt however I actually prefer my food to avoid a journey on a jittery jitney before I receive it.
Only if they deliver Roz’s home cooked meals 🙂 but seriously I have not. My son does though.

Have not used any of the food deliveries.
Don’t eat out much, so going out is a treat.
DoorDashed when I can find a deal…terrible customer service and very wasteful. Better just to pick up local things yourself.
I use DoorDash a couple times a month. I’ll normally use it if I’m super busy at work or am sick. Never had a problem!
I mainly use Doordash for my mom. She is 90 years old and doesn’t always eat well and won’t go out to eat anymore. It helps to get her something she has a hunger for in a short amount of time. Which helps her eat more often to keep up her strength. It has worked for her.
No, but everybody else on the street seems to.
Not used any of them. I did order pizza delivered several years ago but decided I didn’t like cold pizza. I cook at home or go out to places not on the dirty dining list.
I use DoorDash all time. Only had one problem. A driver had picked up two orders, and cross delivered them. The restaurant sent out another meal, although it arrived very late. My place is hard to find, so sometimes I get a call for better directions. My food is always warm/hot when it gets here. The drivers are nice and polite. I will continue using them. Great service.
I have never used any of those services.

I’ve used Door Dash a few times and have been very pleased. Delivery people are polite, and often deliver earlier than promised. Can’t wait to do it again.
Used both Grub Hub and Door Dash both at home and when on vacation. Love the convenience. We order from the non-fast food restaurants and have been pleased with quality and service.
