Concord Police are searching for a man who attempted to steal a coin machine from the car wash on Matheson Rd. in Concord, just off Clayton Rd.
The crime occurred on Sep.24 at 7:30 a.m., according to police.
After making several attempts to steal the machine, he eventually gave up and decided to leave.
The truck used in the crime was reported stolen from a nearby neighborhood that same morning, police said.
The pickup truck is described as a black 2000 Toyota Tacoma (Plate #: 01295Z1) with oxidized paint.

The truck belongs to my boyfriend. It was stolen last week. There was some personal items that are sentimental. If you see this truck, please call the cops. It is the second truck he’s had stolen in a year…
