Claycord 4-H will kick off the year with its first meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept.10 at the Farm Bureau Hall in Concord, 5554 Clayton Rd. (near the Clayton border).
The 4-H program focuses on building up youths ages 5 – 19 through experiential learning, leadership, public speaking, and community service opportunities.
New projects to look forward to include Animal Husbandry, Entomology, Beginning Quilting, Legos, Photography, Financial Planning, and TRPG.
There will also be Hiking, Cooking, and Gardening projects; all catering to a variety of interest areas.
