Meadow Lane, It sounds so peaceful. I wonder how long ago it got that name. I hope they get the guilty parteee.

I pray that this case and all the other unsolved cases get solved. Families deserve peace in their hearts.

Sounds like they have some new info. Anybody who knows anything related to the case, now would be a good time to chime in.

Perhaps someone who knows what happened got picked up for an unrelated crime and offered up some info in exchange for some kind of deal.

Just speculation.

It the murder has never been solved, then it cannot be “re-opened” since an unsolved murder is never closed.

WHAT THE HECK ARE THEY TEACHING AT DVC THESE DAYS? IT SURE AS HECK NOT ‘LOGIC’

DVC Student,
I sure hope you called the police department to let them know that.

Is DVC Student wrong?

Usually, but gotta give credit for trying????

If an unsolved murder is never closed, then then it cannot be “re-opened.”

It can be re-opened if it was previously suspended, which it appears that it was.

Cold cases can be closed also. I hope this student isn’t taking any course relating to detective work.

Unsolved murders that become cold cases are never closed. They’re only closed once they’re solved.

No need to attack my schooling either.

Cold cases can be closed, but maybe DVC Student meant since there’s no statute of limitations on murder, that they’re never really closed (legally) they’re just cold cases. If the statute of limitations have run out, they’re closed.

“You like potato and I like… potahto?
You like tomato and I like tomahto
Potato, potahto,
Tomato, tomahto.
Let’s call the whole thing off”

So many hateful people on this thread & attacking my schooling. At least I’m going to school trying to better myself instead of sitting in my parent’s basement & smoking pot all day.

I’m trying to not to be a statistic living off all of you taxpayers thru “assistance” so please don’t attack my schooling.

Don’t let the ignorant drag you down and beat you with experience.

Psst: I attended DVC and transferred to, then graduated from CSU Sacramento. Keep up your chin up, you got this. DVC Is a fantastic JC (One of the best) and you are doing the right thing. Don’t let the opinions of drop outs and ill-informed tell you otherwise.

Actually, I agree with your reasoning. How can they re-open something that wasn’t closed? They can’t because it remains open. Congratulations to you for pursuing higher education. It opens a world of possibilities and opportunities for you. When I entered college they told us we were in the top 2% of the population who scored high enough to be admitted. That puts you in a unique position to succeed at whatever you choose to do. Good luck to you.
