Kern County Man Convicted Of Child Molestation Gets 94-To-Life In Prison

A 66-year-old Kern County man was sentenced last week by Judge Laurel Brady to 94-years-to-life in prison for sexually abusing a child, according to Contra Costa County prosecutors.

At the conclusion of an eight-day trial in June, a jury found Delano resident Donaciano Rodriguez guilty on 11 felony counts, including penetration of a child under 10 and forced lewd acts on a child.

Prosecutors say the assaults occurred in Contra Costa County, on multiple occasions and at multiple locations. The victim came forward in 2017, and Rodriguez has been in custody ever since his arrest later that year in Kern County.

Police say that after his arrest, he admitted to molesting the girl repeatedly and discussed specific acts that he perpetrated against her.

“The victim in this case and her family were very cooperative during the investigation and trial,” Deputy District Attorney Bryan Tierney said Tuesday in a statement. “Without their help there would be no justice.”

It’s awful that he made his victim go through having a trial. True scumbag and I’m glad he’s gone for the rest of his.

Before we move anywhere we check Megan’s Law-these guys are everywhere living among us as you can see on the website-I’m
happy to see they are finally getting real sentences instead of just being allowed to live in our neighborhoods. Prayers of healing for the victim and family that they can move on knowing they are safe from this predator.

I had a neighbor that lived a few doors down that I saw on the Megan’s Law website, he was convicted of rape by force. When I told the young single woman that lived next door to him she moved within two months.
Several years later he lost both legs and was wheelchair bound.
Karma always has a way of getting back.

Sounds like 94 years too long to me.
We shouldn’t need to share space with his sort after a conviction for that.

It sounds good but how long will it take the liberals in Sac to say that’s too long and release him?

He’s 66 now. 94 years just ensures he never gets out on parole.

I’m happy justice was served for the victim. But I guess I’m a “glass is half empty” kind of person. All I can think of is how many more pervs are still out there and getting away with it.
