A man was injured after he was assaulted and robbed by three men in Pleasant Hill on Sunday night, according to police.
The mugging occurred near the intersection of Boyd and Cleaveland roads around 10:32 p.m., police said. Officers found a 36-year-old man suffering from injuries at the scene. He was transported to a hospital. His wallet and cellphone were stolen.
The three suspects are described as men in their late teens or early 20s. No further details were provided by police.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call police at 925-288-4600.
So no description?
Well…. if the cops don’t care neither do I.
Another PC police force at work.
The 680 corridor is prime for robberies as freeway access is excellent.
If the police had a better description they would have provided it.
No description = the usual suspects.
@PO’d: Why is this “PC”? We don’t know the race of the suspects.
@Dr. Jellyfinger: if you are implying their race, that is wrong. The perpetrators could be of any race.
Keep believing that Concord Ygnacio, but everyone has a visual without your denial.
@concord ygnacio,
Do you really think for one second that the victim doesn’t have some idea what race the robbers were, or that he didn’t report that information to the police?
Concord Ygnacio- No we don’t know, but the victim and the police do.
If they have enough description to say that they were teens/20s, then they must know ethnicity. Should be included
Typical Liberal Pittbull …. jump to the race card!
I said absolutely nothing about race, but you instantly conclude that I am implying that I am inferring race, just because the police are leaving it up to us to assume that the description will be the same one we get 9 out of 10 times a crime is committed.
I… like the police… did not mention anything about race! …. but you did!
I’d say that makes YOU a racist!
…..or maybe you’re psychic & you just know what everyone else is thinking…or maybe you just know everything about everything?
Concord ygnacio – the good doctor gotcha…
You’re the racist.
Dirty rotten little cowards. I thought that was a safe area. Makes me mad to know the little punks are roaming around.
I wholeheartedly agree! But I do believe Karma is Now ‘gunning for’ these little basta*ds. And She Be A Biatch!
What is wrong with people?
I blame Quinton Tarantino.
We live in that area, definitely thought it was safe.
After 10:00pm many places that seem safe in the day are not.
It is a very safe area, as is all of Pleasant hill actually, but even good areas do have some crime.
We all need to obey the 4 Rules of Stupid. Don’t go to Stupid places with Stupid people at Stupid times doing Stupid things. Violate one and you may be o.k. Violate two and it gets dicey, three or all four and you’re surely in for a heap of trouble.
Lately, 7:00 pm has been our cut-off for the Stupid time rule. There are many Stupid places that we just don’t go anymore.
As always, stupid can find you any time and any place, so keep your head on a swivel and be safe.
So I guess even complexion is not politically correct. Light complexion, dark complexion, etc.
“Stop any three males (also questionable nowadays) seen together in the area of the crime.
Our local police departments are hired by our very liberal local officials, they often have to work with one hand tied behind their backs. My old crew at LASD would have crime rates down by 50% in one week, of course it wouldn’t be PC or pretty.

I bet Orinda, Lafayette and Danville don’t have that problem.
Why?
The Sheriff, as an elected official has more freedom, but he gets his money from the Board of Supes who are liberal…..so not free to do as he pleases.

I wish you guys Would still be on the force! And take down these
PC politicos. The public would be behind you all the way. Catching these little slimers so law abiding citizens could be safer. Thanks for your past service too!
CCW is clearly needed in California for those desiring it…
Everyone should carry a knife and pepper spray at a minimum, better to be proactive. Be prepared!!!
Is is legal to carry a knife or pepper spray? What kind of knife (blade length)? I am just asking because I don’t know.
@concord Ygnacio-Yes, it is legal to carry pepper spray and a folding blade and I believe a fixed blade. Make sure to comply with all of the laws on both. In other words, don’t carry bug spray (like many people say to do) and don’t carry bear spray (ditto). Knife laws are pretty numerous, so I don’t know the technicalities. The problem with both is that they are VERY close distance tools. You have to be within 10-15 feet for pepper spray and up close and personal to use a knife. That said, I carry both, but I NEVER, EVER, EVER want to have to resort to the knife. Verbal Judo before and altercation. Run-fu before an altercation. Pepper spray before anything worse. I’ve just heard terrible things about knife fights.
Lived in downtown PH for 13 years
Definitely not a rosy as it’s portrayed to be.
A Pleasant Hill Policeman once told Me that that area near CoCo Blvd. is :The Homeless Highway”!
I thought that area was safe 🙁 That intersection has has a school and the rest is residential.
It seems you can’t walk home from public transportation, dinner and/or movie or walk your dog 🙁
I still love P Hill, but things are not going in the right direction. Smashed side windows abound near me, which happens to coincide with the homeless tweakers who camp in the bushes by the creek. Shady white trash types riding their bikes or walking up and down CoCo Blvd, cursing at their girl or just at the air. The occasional mentally I’ll person meandering from one side of the street to the other, loudly and aggressively talking about not being a rapist, while normies cross the street to avoid. The local liquor store had their plate glass window smashed twice and all of their scratchers stolen in the last year.
I don’t feel unsafe, but I also don’t go out without a knife on me anymore. And I keep my eyes up and steer clear of people who look like they may be trouble.
Hope the victim recovers well and the only long term damage is the stolen wallet and phone.
Monument blvd. is right there dude who the hell are you all kidding i’d bet my “kickstand” they were NOT white…..truth hurts huh
Descriptions are tricky things. For example, if a suspect appears male, it doesn’t mean they are male, or perhaps they used to be male, or maybe possibly identify as male; or not.
This is why many adults still like to watch a good Western. There was no ambiguity.
I love your reply, dude! Westerns. No guessin’ there pardner! My favorite is still Tombstone. With Sam Elliot, Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer (I’m your huckleberry!), Bill Paxton, and of course the veritable Strong but Quiet Man, Charlton Heston. Now These Guys Portrayed the Men I Remember and would feel safe with anytime! They did their jobs Protecting their women and other people.Love this film. And of course, Kurt ended up with his dream gal in the end, didn’t he?
