Simple things in life. Particularly spending time in my home and yards that I love, just doing this and that.
The slew of home maintenance and repair issues of late, though, I could do without and the accompanying frustration and feeling of lack of control. But that’s part of home ownership, as Jim reminded me. Problems can and will happen.

Family, friends, good health, faith and the ability to keep a roof over our heads. As long as those ducks are all in a row, I’m a happy camper…

I am happy when people treat others with kindness.
I am happy when people take responsibility and are accountable for themselves.
I don’t mean that figuratively….
I mean really just playing with my pet dog.

My granddaughter saying “I love you, grandpa.” She’s been saying it since she was a toddler, now she is a grown woman and still says it.
I never get tired of hearing it.

Hearing laughter (especially babies), playing with my dogs 🙂
When I help others. When I am painting. Seeing my nephews and family.
Eating good food. Being thankful. Living for my God. That is what I forget and it is ironic that is most important. There is much more to life than happiness too.

Lot’s of things, my 3 year old granddaughter, and my family in general. Wonderful friends that I have known for years,1 since childhood, some since my twenties and all the way to 10 years ago. California nature especially Yosemite and the Coast line, memories of my youth, flowers, cute animals, good music, good books, a glass of a nice California Chardonnay, especially if I’m at the Ahwahnee in Yosemite, cooking a nice meal for friends or family. Enough money to pay my bills and have some left over, for savings and a few other things, could come up with more, but this is what comes to my mind right away.

At the ripe old age of 77 it is very comforting to know that it’s all good and I don’t have to lift a finger to improve the world.
many things… the list would be long…
Ditto,…followed by a Happy Dance!
A good Hazy IPA.
Brightening some ones day with a smile. Body surfing. Kombucha. Lobster. After a busy day in the garden or a long hike.
Watching young children and toddlers.
Simple question for me…
1. My wife
2. My children
3. My Grandchildren
Not always necessarily in that order 🙂

Now that made me do the Happy Dance! 🙂
