A vehicle crashed into multiple homes in the Racho Diablo Mobile Home Park on Marsh Dr. near Pacheco this evening.

The driver of the vehicle hit an electrical box and a fire hydrant, along with two homes. The crash also started a small vegetation fire in the area.

We’re hearing a woman and a child were rescued from the vehicle.

I wonder if she was going over the speed limit.

She probably was intoxicated and with a child ?

Unlikely, since a person does not speed when there is a child in the vehicle.

No, of course nobody speeds with a child in the car. But they don’t crash, either, so this is quite a mystery. I wonder if maybe the child was planted in the car afterwards?

Yeah, just like nobody Texts when there is a child in the vehicle.

You think???

Also, the road is pretty much straight. I am still trying to figure out how a car could crash like that and do so much damage. Something is not right here.

The road is not straight where this occurred. It is a 45 mph road which goes into a 30 mph (posted with adequate warning signage) sharp curve. The road turns into a 35 mph residential area road after the curve. If you don’t slow down you are putting yourself in danger.
It’s got nothing to do with the fact that it was mobile homes that were damaged. There was a wall that was breached several old pine trees that were just missed. The homes were on the other side of the wall and adequately protected from normal drivers. The fact that were mobile homes that were damaged makes no difference. If they were brick and mortar houses they still would have been damaged.

concord ygnacio;
The road is not straight where the accident occurred. The 45 mph straight part goes into a very sharp curve with adequate signage telling the folks to slow to 30 mph. It was in this sharp curve that the vehicle left the road, breached a wall and crashed into the stuff talked about in the article.

Wrong… look on Google Maps. It curves right there.

It curves left if youre heading toward the park with a left hand turn in front of you.If you even been on the road you would know that the curve to the right would have sent the car thru the fence and onto the freeway. But you don’t know left from right,do you,Anon?

Outlaw trailer courts for sure…..

To judgement 1)they are Mobile home parks and 2) get rid of the speeders that think Marsh Dr is part of the freeway. I happen to live down the street and we get speeders all the time. Time for STOP sign at all 3 Mobile home park. Just maybe this will also make it easier for us to get out onto Marsh around 5 pm.

Glad no one was hurt

Pacheco has had a rough week. Give ’em a hug.

Unless you’ve driven the road where thi happened, it’s pretty hard to make a judgement on what or why this happened. I live in the mobile home park where this occuredd and I’ve driven over that same road for more than 30 years.
The road is fairly straight with a 45 mph speed limit until it goes past the end of Buchanan Field’s runway. It then goes into a very sharp curve with adequate 30 mph signage posted as a warning. Once the curve is passed the speed limit drops to 35 mph to go past a lengthy stretch of residential homes.
The vehicle in the accident had to breach a protective wall that is erected at the edge of the mobile home park and brushed some large very old pine trees before it even came close to the homes.
I am convinced that excess speed was the culprit here. It also doesn’t matter a tinkers darn what type of homes were damaged. The damage would have occurred regardless of the type. So, badmouthing “trailer parks” accomplishes nothing but venting of personal feelings.

Judgement:

A Trailer park and a Mobile Home park are very different. Regardless, no one should have their home damaged by a probable speeder. I agree with the others here, it was probably speed or DUI’s, ad I also drive that same curve every day to get to my MOBILE HOME park on the opposite of the drive in. People speed past the other drivers on a regular basis, some even veering to the wrong side of the road. Stop signs would definitely. And Judgement, please think twice before you pass judgment on someone, based on their living situation.

Amazing anyone walked out of that mess ok.

I see you still have a complete idiot removing all the relevant comments from yesterday from this post.I don’t expect you to publish this, youre scared. And you will keep losing elections.
