Seems like every time I read these crime reports for the last year or two Yolanda Circle shows up for something – anyone know what is going on over there? It’s a pretty nice area so it just seems strange to me?

Yolanda is a nice street but it’s horseshoe shaped so you can enter the neighborhood one way and easily exit another. It’s pretty close to Kirker Pass… In the end you can see why it’s a target for mail theft and car burglaries. But a lot of the residents have secure mailboxes and are starting to put up cameras. One of the Clayton police cameras is also on Oakhurst and Yolanda, hopefully stuff like this will start to deter thieves more. I’ve also heard there is a homeless camp not too far away although I’m not exactly sure where.

Years ago, there were two brothers who lived in that neighborhood who were drug using thieves. They were notorious for stealing from their own neighbors, and they knew they could get home before ever being caught. Not sure if they’re still there living with mommy and daddy, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they were.
