ALSO …… for the folks that own/run that restaurant.
Do they think it’s OK not to EVER clean their place???
Even if they only did it ONCE a week (still gross) it shouldn’t have all those cockroaches.
Cleaning a restaurant IS part of the job. How are the employees allowed to keep their job if they won’t/don’t want to clean????

Yikes!!! So dirty that even the cockroaches are dying? Pull their business permit…permanently.

As I keep asking – does the health dept immediately check food place in the same building? If they do and are clean, it would be nice if that was included in the notice of closing (maybe a line at the bottom ‘XYZ located next to ABC was inspected and no violations were found’).

I’ve been coming to this place for a while, and I believe it’s the best tasting chicken place in town, and it really is! I went to the place, and was saddened that they closed, but at this moment now, they are back in business and they cleaned up the place real good. I believe we should have frequent inspections though, to keep businesses on their toes, so that these incidents wont happen so much.

Cleaned the place up …what they most likely did was sweep away the rodent droppings and sprayed insecticide all over the place to kill the roaches . Most restaurants do not hire a professional exterminator company. That is why this horrible accumulation of German cockroaches and rats exist. And the rats and roaches will return if the problem is not handled by a professional.
I don’t know about you, but I care about my health and wouldn’t step foot in a restaurant that received a report like this from the health department.

Nice to see the wildlife is thriving despite the encroachment of humans.
