BART train service between the Rockridge Station in Oakland and the Lafayette Station will be suspended this weekend to give way to track upgrade operations, the transit agency said.
Free buses will replace trains between the stations, according to BART.
Travelers are advised to expect delays of 20 minutes between the Rockridge and Lafayette stations.

Any idea what these “upgrades” supposedly are? They keep saying upgrades…is it really just performing deferred maintenance?
