UPDATE: Residents Told To Prepare To Evacuate In Port Costa Due To Fire

Authorities in the area of Crockett and Port Costa in northern Contra Costa County are asking residents in the area of the Carquinez Scenic Drive and Port Costa Reservoir Street to prepare to evacuate as a fire burns in the Bull Valley Station area, the county sheriff said at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.

The vegetation fire is burning on Carquinez Scenic Drive in Martinez and has reached 20 acres, according to Cal Fire.

one outlet said they were told the benicia may have been an ember Crockett… dunno bout sunol or vaca
