This postcard is from the mid to late-1960s, and it shows the Clayton City Office in Downtown Clayton.

Looks nice and cozy.

Anybody remember this building?

That’s a cool stamp, commemorating Finland’s independence from the Russian Empire.

That’s the perfect size city office. I think all government offices should be this size.

My thoughts exactly, Sam!

So many nice memories of sleepy humble Clayton … there used to be and old abandoned winery just across from the elementary school … we used to go there back in the 1980s and goof off.

Stamp is a clue. In 1968 postcard postage went to 5 cents.

My wife worked there when it became the State Farm Ins office.

Yes I remember it, but when it was a real estate office. You know what’s funny? I’m not sure if it’s still there or not. Is it?
