Multiple officers converged on the establishment and found a male and female with gunshot wounds at the establishment. Two additional males, both with gunshot wounds, drove themselves to Sutter Delta Hospital in Antioch.

This investigation is in its early stages. However, preliminary details indicate there was an argument between two groups inside the establishment which led to the shooting. No one outside the two groups were struck by gunfire.

This is an ongoing investigation which is being investigated by the Concord Police Department, Major Crimes Unit.

No other information is being released at this time. If you have any details or were a witness to this shooting please call the Concord Police Department confidential “tip line” at (925) 603-5836.

Again?
This happened in the last two weeks too!
Maybe this place needs to go.
The Veranda is a wonderful shopping center. It shouldn’t have a trouble making tenant in it

I suppose that restaurants, pool halls, recreation facilities, movie theaters and all those other venues should go also because this could happen anywhere.
You obviously weren’t thinking clearly when you mentioned the tenant is a troublemaker. Since when is the tenant responsible for other people’s stupid behavior?

Veranda is wonderful? Dude, you set the bar pretty low. That entire dump is HORRIBLE design/layout, such a wasted opportunity. This includes the idiotic movie theater which they totally botched design and execution…who knows if still the case but initially they had a gigantic drinks bar but no concession stand, instead they want to interrupt everyone by having servers bring orders to your seat. Now throw in a D&B which is dump Chuck E. Cheese on nuclear steroids.

The problems happen when people come here from Pittsburg/Bay Point/Antioch direction.

Well Robert the Tenant is responsible for other people’s stupidity when you have a liquor license.

Business and Professions Code Code 25601 and 24200 et al.

25601.
Every licensee, or agent or employee of a licensee, who keeps, permits to be used, or suffers to be used, in conjunction with a licensed premises, any disorderly house or place in which people abide or to which people resort, to the disturbance of the neighborhood, or in which people abide or to which people resort for purposes which are injurious to the public morals, health, convenience, or safety, is guilty of a misdemeanor.

Unfortunately that type of place attracts the wrong crowds after certain hours. A.I am really surprised with all the shootings they did not install metal detectors. Sad for those that want to go and just have fun.

Yi haw, yipppie ki yay, it’s the Wild West. 108RS

Be interesting to know who the victims were.

You already know. Same as the suspects, I suspect…

It’s Real SIMPLE…..You match up all of the cell phone signals to the “victim/suspects” at the hospital.

Guarantee you, if they were out there protesting lock downs or experimental vaxx mandates = Police would have already had search warrants and made arrests!!

I hope you don’t drive, because I have no idea how you got from point A to point B

They drove themselves to an Antioch hospital

You figure it out.

@ The Grant…….Many share your your wisdom!

People need to chill. It’s not bad if you drink while enjoying BUT put it in your stomach, NOT IN YOUR HEAD. The place are for KIDS, NOT ADULTS WHO THINK LIKE KIDS.

Lessee…….what was that town motto again?……..
Oh yeah, “Concord, where families come first.”
“When seconds count the police are only minutes away.”

Not sure of circumstances but 2 serious incidents at the same location with a short time frame may qualify as an Disorderly House under B&P 25601 and could result in the suspension of Dave and Buster’s liquor license under B&P 24200 for a month.

That will surely get their attention.

It’s more like the scummy people that Concord attracts that is the problem. Don’t see this happening at tge Dave & Busters in Milpitas.
And Concord as plenty of home grown scum.so people need stop saying it’s always people from Pittsburg & Antioch. Take a good look at what’s living in Concord

I know it is a “water under the bridge” situation, but I still wish the office compounds (its buildings and beautiful mature trees bulldozed so that Veranda Shopping Center was built) had been left in place and converted into condos and apartments.
That type of gaming center….its blasting imitations of music, it’s “free trade” opportunities …. intentionally attracts “ANYTHING from ANYWHERE”! And there is fast freeway escape access to I-680 in either of two on-ramp configurations (Willow Pass direction or Concord Avenue direction).

Well- I mean, these folks literally drove themselves to a hospital in Antioch. So, if they were locals they would have driven themselves locally. So, when it is constantly the same population from the same cities… Well, you are not good at doing the math, clearly. So, yeah. It’s folks from Antioch. Certain folks.

What is the real problem? Shouldn’t we focus on renaming the place? Maybe the bored of supervisors and Mark Desaulnier could hold a zoom meeting

It seems Concord politicians need to have a wall built around certain parts of the city.
That shopping center has attracted criminals from day 1.
I used to see at least one police officer patrolling that center before the pandemic happened.

Rampage and The Walking Dead are meant to played inside the arcade, not the parking lot.

@Paul….I heard the same thing back in the day when we would hop over the border to Tijuana for a night (or three) of debauchery.

The people of Concord go to work every day to afford a house and live in civil neighborhoods. The average house price is 900k and when you outsiders refer to scum, it takes one to know one, honey!

I don’t understand how people get the notion that the way to settle an argument is to start shooting. Crazy….

@ Casky…just turn on the news….
