Contra Costa Behavioral Health Services Community Forum Scheduled For March 4

Contra Costa Behavioral Health Services, a division of Contra Costa Health Services, invites any interested person to participate in a community forum as part of the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Community Program Planning Process.

Participants will learn about the MHSA with particular focus on the innovation funding component. They’ll discuss new project ideas and participate in small group break out discussions.

WHEN: Friday, March 4, 2022 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

WHY: Contra Costa County’s MHSA budget provides over $50 million in support of more than 80 mental health and wellness programs. Forum goals include sharing resources, identifying service needs and providing input to inform future planning of the MHSA Three-Year Program and Expenditure Plan.

not much of a “Community Forum” when it’s during most folks work day….

I love this… You cause the mental health problem to increase in our community due to your draconian mandates.. then you come to the rescue? Take your forum and shove it. Mental Health is an issue but I’d trust other agencies or churches to help.. not CCHS

Ditch the mask mandates and pandemonium restrictions. People are going crazy for a reason. “We don’t need no medication, we don’t need no thought control…”
