The person who was shot inside the Sunvalley Mall on Dec.31 has died, and a suspect has been arrested, according to the Concord Police Department.
The shooting victim, who hasn’t been identified, was shot while trying to help the victim of a robbery inside the mall, police said.

It’s easy to imagine the public defender’s fight against a murder charge. The victim would have survived if he hadn’t contracted COVID during his confinement in the hospital. The hospital was actually responsible for the victim’s death, not his/her/their client.
