Why should these state officials do there job?They are over paid and under worked.All they want is paycheck’s and benefits.And as long as the public keeps voting these people in office and do not demand they do there job’s nothing will change.

I am all for de-funding forced public education, and replacing it with a parent’s right to choose. School choice could be the great equalizer of our time.
Less funds for public schools= less funds for teachers union.
Less funds for teachers union= less funds for Democrat election campaigns.
Less Democrats in office= the possibility that we may get the freedom to choose.
It’s a win win.

Funny thing, during covid when kids had to stay home, parents were finally able to see what their kids were learning (and what they weren’t learning) I look forward to next year’s election when school vouchers will be on the ballot . Let the parents vote with their ballots to where they want their kids to be educated. The public system is rotten. Remember folks we’re 48th in the nation. It wouldn’t be so bad if the educators would acknowledge their mistakes and try to change. Instead they dig in and blame the parents for meddling.

I suggest a detailed, item by item, line by line, audit of each and every school and school board. I’ll include the state too. Each school district plus the state has had almost 2 years to figure how to make schools safe and to do that. So now that in person school has started it seems like the whole kit and caboodle are scrambling to get it all done.

Since the schools received an outrageous $24,000,000,000, why would the schools care if they lose $160,000,000 to the State (to the State, people!) when they can do whatever with the remaining $23,840,000,000? $160,000,000 is only .00066667 of what they received. Those State officials are just saying “give us some, too” and the other State officials are saying “Okay, cool, here you go!”. It’s State officials taking federal funds and giving it to other State officials. Does the media you rely on explain it in a way that informs you so you can run your State? A HUGE ‘NOPE!!!’ KPIX frames as if the State is getting punished for not following the rules.
California, as a portion of a Constitution-based reublic, of, for, and by The People, is gone. It’s a Socialist State. It’s never coming back. Game over.

California’s education system is getting worse every year . I think we are 38 or 40th in the US . But the parents keep voting for the same corrupt politicians that are dumbing down their kids . Stop watching the news on TV and start using your own brain .
