Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) has begun to conduct a routine gas transmission maintenance inspection along Olympic Boulevard in unincorporated Walnut Creek.

The “safety and reliability inspection” began today, and will last through mid-November.

Work will occur seven days a week, day and night, weather permitting.

It will take place between Panoramic Way and Paulson Lane.

This work will require lane closures.

You may hear a loud steady noise and notice the smell of natural gas as PG&E empties the pipeline in a controlled and safe manner. This is normal when crews are working, but they encourage anyone who has concerns to call PG&E at 1-800-743-5000.

Starting?? They’ve had Olympic a disaster area a better part of a year. They could have replaced the whole thing by now.

What is the relevance of the blue outlined streets?

What happened to our rights to quiet enjoymen?.
Walnut Creek is a big mess. Keep knitting sweaters for the trees, as they rot and fall over. Ignorant Dem City Council has ruined a once great City.
PG&E is another disgrace.
