The last two numbers in some of the addresses have been deleted to protect the privacy of the victim(s).

.
Why doesn’t the report include vehicle burglaries?
.
The same reason the inflation rate excludes energy and food?
.
… to hide the real numbers for us ordinary Joes and Janes who live, work, and play in the Diablo Valley?
.
Please don’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining.

I wonder how they’ll categorize the nut job walking around Lime Ridge with a rifle last night?

I don’t think that will fit in the defined categories.

Thank goodness for local news…

This is a joke. Please include vehicle thefts. Assaults. Attempted burglaries. I used to come on here more often. But now this publication is as weak as all the others. Whats worse. Fake News. Or Fluff?

Remember…
As far as anyone knows, we’re a normal community.

Why would you even bother to report a burglary anymore? Since the report is electronic, they don’t even have to pick it up to throw it in the circular file. Almost no chance police will pay it any attention. And if they did, Becton would not prosecute.

When I complained to the mayor about no police report or prosecution of 2 hit and run incidents on our street, his comeback was “sounds like a civil matter “. And then he said that since I was moving out of state, there was nothing more to say or do.

If my name were Seeno I would probably get a better response.
