Blah… Blah… Blah.

At least the numbers show a progression. Showing the venerability makes you wonder how safe you are. Covid is real and people do get it, but there has never been a safer “flu” than this. I hope the state will reopen soon.

JimmyJam March 8, 2021 - 9:02 AM - 9:02 AM

525,000 people wish it was a safer flu but hey at they know you didn’t give a crap.

parent March 8, 2021 - 10:40 AM - 10:40 AM

So JimmyJam

Did all 525K die FROM covid? just asking, as I remember the news story about the motorcycle rider who lost control of his bike, and died. He was listed as COVID. Or the case in Reno where the elderly person had pneumonia, died and was classified as COVID.

So again, I ask, did they die WITH covid or FROM covid, cause there is a difference. I will ascertain that many people died FROM covid, but I will not agree that all 525K died FROM covid.

@parent

As much time as you spend here complaining about schools, etc, I ‘ figured you’d check for an update:

And JimmyJam

The ‘article’ you referenced states the the motorcyclist was initially recorded as a COVID death, so that proves my point. Yes, the article continues to say it was ultimately changed. However, how many more of these cases do we not know about? This particular case was reversed because of the public outcry.

I do complain about the lack of education in this county. And your point?

Bill March 8, 2021 - 12:22 AM - 12:22 AM

So are we going Red Tuesday or not…?

Tomato Girl March 8, 2021 - 6:35 AM - 6:35 AM

What do you mean people don’t get it? People get that their lives have been ruined for a virus with a 98% survival rate quit watching MSM it rots you brain start reading news that makes you feel uneasy and you’ll slowly discover you’ve been lied to for decades

Chuq March 8, 2021 - 11:16 AM - 11:16 AM

Just so we’re clear that survival rate is based on how many resources are available to people if we all stay home. If we all just went about our business unmasked you would have more cases and fewer available beds in the ICU and medical professionals would have less time to devote to each person. You get that all our sacrifices are keeping the survival rate higher?

Perhaps a few more will realize the timeliness of this pandemic.

MoJo March 8, 2021 - 8:06 AM - 8:06 AM

It’s alarming how easily society can be controlled simply by using numbers and statistics which can be manipulated to achieve the desired result. Is that what is happening? Amazing how the numbers continue to plummet after the Democrats take control of the country and Newsom starts feeling the pressure of the recall. Call me a skeptic but I don’t buy any of it anymore. Is Covid real? Yes it is. Is it be used and manipulated by people in power to achieve their own personal goals and agenda? I believe so.

parent March 8, 2021 - 9:03 AM - 9:03 AM

MoJo

I agree with EVERYTHING you just said.

I still wish I knew the agenda of our governor, president, the school board and the teachers union.

Bobfished March 8, 2021 - 12:31 PM - 12:31 PM

Joe Biden is releasing covid positive people into the US. The number of migrants who have tested positive for the novel coronavirus after being released by the Border Patrol into Texas has nearly doubled, officials say.

Bobfished March 8, 2021 - 1:05 PM - 1:05 PM

Greyhound CEO has written a letter to DHS requiring covid testing for illegal migrants boarding their buses. The letter came during the same week that more than 100 migrants tested positive for the virus at a Brownsville, Texas, bus station as they prepared to board buses to northern U.S. destinations,
Joe Biden allowing the transportation of covid positive people into locations across the US.
