No, no it’s not.

Economic violence from the government is. 1.9 trillion and now bidumb is about to ask for another 4 trillion. You idiots do know that’s tax funded trillions they talking about right. That’s 5,000,000,000,000 in the first 2 months. You have no idea the economic violence they are hitting us with…yet.

remember February 20, 2021 - 9:00 PM - 9:00 PM

sounds like what will be used to jeep us locked down after people stop believing the covid19 lies, i.e. joe and the hoe will declare a state of martial law to “help” America

Fred February 20, 2021 - 9:14 PM - 9:14 PM

Since Newscum is ultimately responsible for the EDD fraud, he is therefore responsible for the increase in violent crime.

Newsome is out of touch, and I would venture to say that anyone who dines at The French Laundry in Yountville is out of touch. Paying three to four hundred dollars a plate, before wine is immoral when people in the world are starving. Heck, some working people here in the Bay Area are even starving with the goof up in unemployment.

The Fearless Spectator February 20, 2021 - 10:01 PM - 10:01 PM

The Sacramento County District Attorney has a keen grasp of the obvious.

By all means LET US, “Deal with the source”.
BAD management decisions and an incompetent governor .

Massive EDD fraud was helped along greatly by CA’s own
Employment Development Department.

State paid out to scammers as much as $31 billion.
NO that’s not a mistype, . . . . $31 billion, of YOUR tax dollars.

If you haven’t signed recall petition, do you really need more of a reason than this incompetence from EDD and newsom.

Yo Claycord, what’s going on right now in the Denkinger/Wilson area? Just heard what sounded like gunshots a minute or two ago and now lots of sirens.

Chris February 21, 2021 - 12:22 AM - 12:22 AM

For those of you who do not have an understanding of economics, I’ll make it really simple by saying one word: HYPERINFLATION. Google it unless the sensor nazis have deleted it from their platforms. It has just begun.

Sam February 21, 2021 - 8:19 AM - 8:19 AM

This👆🏼. It’s to bad people don’t understand history. We a going into hyperinflation and they are begging for their 1400 bucks. 5,000,000,000,000 dollars will seal our fate to the debt enslavers. But I must be a republican racist Trump supporting insurrectionist for even paying attention to the national debt. How far we’ve fallen.

all government is theft..

If the money is routed through the EDD debit cards administered by BofA it would make sense to partner with them as well. Shut off the cards of those associated with known fraudulent accounts (obviously) and return that $ to the state. Purchase records also usually have location info. Flag and investigate charges on cards that don’t match the address of the claimant.

Aggressively prosecuting criminals in CA would also help but that ship has sailed until voters wake up and demand a change. Hint: what and who you vote for can impact issues like these.

KT February 21, 2021 - 6:27 AM - 6:27 AM

I wonder if EDD still verify employment from previous employer before handing out money. With all this fraud happening, it doesn’t seem like they do anymore.

Mint February 21, 2021 - 12:45 PM - 12:45 PM

Yes, they do unless there are self employed. That’s where pretty much most of the problems happened. The eligibility was expanded under the pandemic to the people who are not normally eligible for unemployment.

1791 February 21, 2021 - 9:31 AM - 9:31 AM

Even before watching the video, I knew there would be photos of “assault weapons”. This is all a front for the coming confiscation of private property. When they say “stop it at the source”, they aren’t interested in the EDD card’s, they’re focused on your right to defend yourself.

WhoDat Gurl February 21, 2021 - 12:53 PM - 12:53 PM

@1791: THIS! X $5,000,000,000,000,000,000

Thank You Boss. Here I thought I was the only #2A Supporter in all of Cali, but you saved me.

Signed,

Gurl

Identity politics will burn you every time. I have little hope in the countries future. Look at every institution and you will see the infamous PC culture. Get use to a lower quality of life. I would suggest you fight and keep fighting. It is your only hope.

Cellophane February 21, 2021 - 11:07 AM - 11:07 AM

For most people, fraud is the latest in a string of crimes beginning with something like petty theft and then subsequent worsening crimes.

When crimes go unpunished, it gets easier to escalate the crimes until one eventually caught and incarcerated.

Even incarceration doesn’t stop crimes, it only delays them for a little while.

Early release for any reason only enables more crime.

Few, if anyone, will be charged with EDD fraud.

Another unpunished crime.

We, as a society, have failed.

The only solution is harsh and I don’t believe the majority will ever consider anything that would interrupt their self-imposed ignorance and the false sense of comfort.

Bluebird February 21, 2021 - 1:40 PM - 1:40 PM

I agree. If we don’t punish for the crimes committed it’s like condoning the actions and they will repeat and progress to worse, possibly murder.

Darwin February 21, 2021 - 11:48 AM - 11:48 AM

That’s RACIST!!!!!

Whoe Jim February 21, 2021 - 10:47 PM - 10:47 PM

If any voter in this state thinks that Newsom has now, not been a total failure as our Governor is so out of touch they should be disallowed to ever vote again. His own political consultants can’t even convince him how to find his way out of a paper bag, But if you want to continue this, get ready to open your wallets even more of for his uncontrollable spending of your money. Let’s hope you want to want to keep some of your own hard earned cash instead of giving it to Gavin for his special interest policies……RECALL NOW!!!

Old-school guy February 22, 2021 - 8:25 AM - 8:25 AM

I think California’s stance on crime is responsible for the increase. Make America Great again; Bring back the 3-strike law.

Sam Malone February 22, 2021 - 10:22 AM - 10:22 AM

So the leftist media is saying that by the time we get around to totalling all the recall petitions and signatures that Newsom will do his usual flip and he will not be recalled.

He can’t sweep the fiasco of EDD fraud and DMV issues that have raped the state of funds. Does he intent to replace all of the fraud $$$’s with a gofundme page supported by contributions from his cronies and family and other leftist-democratic-entitlement crowd????

Wake up people he flips more than a fish out of water.
