Concord Police Department arrested one driver on suspicion of DUI while conducting a DUI enforcement patrol on Friday.

“Driving under the influence is dangerous, illegal and puts a further strain on resources in the middle of a pandemic,” Lt. Mark Robison said. “We are still out there and will not hesitate to stop drivers who drive impaired.”

Drivers charged with DUI face an average of $13,500 in fines and penalties, as well as a suspended license.

So they failed. I could’ve caught more myself with way less grant money lol.

Your time should also be spent ticketing red light and stop sign runners. Sit at any intersection with these and you can issue tickets within seconds.

Some people are never satisfied.
If the cops don’t catch ANY drunks, complain. If they catch one, they’re just wasting taxpayer dollars. However many they catch, someone can always do better, just by posting on some blog.

So you’re complaining about people complaining. You probably indulge in whine at every meal.

So people think that they shouldn’t have to wear a mask to try and help others during a virtual outbreak

But they think that people can’t drink and drive (it’s their body) because others might be hurt? the reality is that most drunk drivers do not injure or kill anyone.

And if you are afraid of drunk drivers – just stay home.

Got to shovel that OT to the police.

People are alive because of these restrictions you are caterwauling about. There would be a lot more despair if we decided what we wanted to do was more important than the lives of other people around us. And I think you will find that there have been people driving under the influence no matter who is the governor.

It’s true Rob statistically it’s a rarity. It’s just another excuse for control and fleecing the public.

So the next DUI event will be interesting since people that are stopped will be out after curfew… ;>)
