Experiencing problems with lab electric reporting and results — therefore when the corrections are made, numbers may go up…. (eyeroll) but numbers may not go down. 🙂
Except for the numbers of deaths in long term care facilities…those numbers have been known to go down between Wed, 7/29 and Fri, 7/31.

Figures lie, and liars figure.

Dead is dead, no matter the place of death, and those who continue trying to obscure the cause are delusional. Wear a friggin mask, keep apart from others, don’t gather in groups. Again, wear a mask.

At Masked and Gloved

And Fear Mongrels to instill fear in others to feel good about themselves.

Dead is dead, I agree. But the place and manner of death IS important right now as politicians and fear mongrels keep telling us ‘look at the numbers! People are dying!”, but they cannot tell us if people are dying OF covid or WITH covid and that is a BIG distinction.

I also tell all fear mongrels I know, yourself included, if you don’t want to hang out in a group, do not. If you want to wear a mask when you are speaking with me from a distance of greater than 6 feet, do so but do not expect me to fall into your fear factor.

Folks, it’s like looking through a kaleidoscope when trying to gain insight into the Covid-19 data! According to Anna Roth at the C.C.C. Board of Directors on 7/28— as of 7/15 the Federal Government has mandated hospitals report Covid-19 data directly to Health and Human Services, not CDC in an effort to streamline supplies and drugs…basically to divvy up Remdesivir to hospitals in a timely manner. Dr. Farnitano—last week we received 28 treatments in Contra Costa County for our hospitals. I’m postulating that this change of protocol is causing the data reporting to be muddled as hospitals scramble to learn a new system…

Nope July 31, 2020 - 8:13 PM - 8:13 PM

119 deaths, 77 in long term health care, over a 4 month period. Hardly a reason to shut the county down. We’re getting played. What a smokescreen and control grab.History will look back on this and agree – this was BS…and we fell, and continue to fall for it.

And Amazingly… There is NO count of how many people died of Seasonal Flu, Acquired Pneumonia, [long list of could-be killers]
