A 30-year-old Pleasant Hill man convicted of producing child pornography was sentenced Tuesday in Oakland to 25 years in prison, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Daniel Joseph Feliciano had pleaded guilty March 3 and admitted in his plea agreement to using his cellphone to record video of a 9-year-old child performing an explicit act and take an image of a 5-year-old sitting on a bed with genitalia visible, prosecutors said.
Feliciano also admitted to possessing more than 200 images or videos of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
A government filing said Feliciano possessed more than 21,000 images of child pornography, including images of sexual abuse of a toddler-aged child and other children younger than 7 years old.
Feliciano was indicted Dec. 19 and charged with two counts of producing and possessing child pornography. He pleaded guilty to both counts.
U.S. District Judge Jeffrey White also sentenced him to 10 years of supervised release and scheduled a hearing for Sept. 22 to address restitution.
The case resulted from a tip submitted in October to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about the discovery of potential exploitation material stored in a cloud storage account later traced to Feliciano.
The prosecution is the result of an investigation by Homeland Security Investigations, the Silicon Valley Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, and the Pleasant Hill Police Department.

The Feds do not have parole. He will serve a minimum 85% of his time (21 years and about 4 months).
How are parents supposed to effectively protect innocent children from the Devil like this, this is bull&$&@ just look at Megan’s Law they’re f$&@ing everywhere and those are the ones caught. How about interviews of every child required at every age by a teacher or doctor or something!!!! Check the internet history of every guardian before they’re even allowed to even be around kids, anything illegal like what he has on his computer and NOPE his name plastered on Megan’s Law so their parents would know ahead of time to never leave kids with this person. How about any excessive pornography use at all from a potential guardian should also be reported to the mom prior so she knows about the sick mind of who is watching her kids. Sin begins in the heart. The Devil is hard at work trying to harm kids before they have a chance to begin their lives.
Despite all my rage, Jesus saves so I hope anyone subjected to this kind of animal evil behavior feels the overwhelming love and healing from our Lord Jesus Christ, now and forever.

@Janon……You cant blame it on all pornography. Millions of people watch pornography who would never lay a hand on a minor. If you got rid of porn, the world would fall apart. Go preach all you want but you can never do without porn and you know it!
There was a time when porn was nonexistent, believe it or not. And life on the planet was much better. Larry Flynn changed all that with his twisted take on naked women and you see where that led. Porn should be eliminated from existence. It contributes absolutely nothing to the improvement and enlightenment of mankind.
Pornography is not a need it’s the Devil’s work. Try showing your wife or girlfriend your internet history and watch her fall instantly out of love with you. It contributes nothing good. Broadcast what you look at to the world and see how you’re received. Something evil can’t produce something good.
Porn was in existence WAYYY before Larry Flynt. There’s porn that’s thousands of years old in the pyramids, and Pompeii. It’s probably the world’s second oldest profession.

Castration will not help him. He has mental issues and they stick around even after castration. Have you ever had a neutered dog that still gets into fights? Animals are easier to retrain than people.
I’m glad their attacking this problem at the source. If they can’t make it they can’t distribute it and fewer children will be harmed.
