As predicted, well over a year ago, state will be moving Death Row inmates to other state prisons. Have to keep in mind San Quentin State Prison sits on one of a few large parcels left surrounding San Francisco Bay, 275 acres of prime waterfront real estate. Article in today’s dailymail dot com.

Still believe eventual goal of liberal politicians is closure of the prison and selling land to developers.

Kirkwood February 15, 2020 at 8:32 AM

Welcome back Original G.

The Fearless Spectator February 15, 2020 at 8:43 AM

Low income housing with a view!

How about sending those death row inmates to prisons outside California, perhaps in Texas.

Xennial February 15, 2020 at 12:58 AM

Trump has no idea what he is doing with the DOJ. Sure he can use his power to help his felonious friends avoid prison – but doing so undermines the credibility of the justice department. Trials and the rule of law do much more than punish criminals, they exonerate the innocent. If justice cannot be trusted to be impartial then what value is a “not guilty” verdict for a perceived ally of Trump or a “guilty” verdict for a perceived enemy? Without impartiality there is no justice and without justice people will start turning to “self-help”, vigilantism and worse.

Nature Lover February 15, 2020 at 7:39 AM

Totally agree with you Xennial.

S February 15, 2020 at 8:28 AM

I think trump knows exactly whats he’s doing. It’s all about him ego.

Gittyup February 15, 2020 at 4:17 PM

‘Sure he can use his power to help his felonious friends avoid prison …”

He doesn’t appear to be doing any such thing, so I’d say the DOJ’s integrity is quite safe. He seems to be working with them effectively to drain the swamp just as he promised.

Rollo Tomasi February 15, 2020 at 5:55 PM

The President opined on the sentence recommendation for Roger Stone. He is allowed to do that. James Clapper and Andy McCabe verifiably lied to Congress. Comey oversaw fraudulent FISA applications. None of these people have even been charged with a crime.
Anthony Weiner pleaded guilty to transferring obscene material to a minor, and was sentenced to 21 months,15 of which he served. Now, by all means, please justify the recommended 7-9 YEARS for Roger Stone.

Amigo February 15, 2020 at 9:43 AM

TRUMP is President

Jojo Potato February 15, 2020 at 11:34 AM

But Trump is not King. In our system, no one person rules. Look it up.

Ozzie February 15, 2020 at 11:46 AM

And now has demanded introduction of Super Double Caps Lock.

Amigo February 15, 2020 at 6:22 PM

Forgot the bold.
TRUMP is President.

Bloomberg is floating Hillary as VP.
He better get a good food taster .

The Fearless Spectator February 15, 2020 at 2:41 PM

It will never work, Clinton comes with way too much baggage. Bloomberg’s only advantage is that nationally he is an unknown quantity, Hilary will taint that. Now if he could get Oprah he might have a shot.

Gittyup February 15, 2020 at 4:19 PM

Lol. He’ll have to put on additional security, too.

Gittyup February 15, 2020 at 4:39 PM

Mattress back Kamala’s name was tossed about as a second-in-charge for Bloomberg. Apparently, she has the reputation that she “goes along to get along.”

Brandi February 15, 2020 at 10:58 PM

Why is everyone talking about Biden and Bloomberg?
I think Mayor Pete is leading the pack but I hear people saying he will come from behind, so It’s confusing.

Amigo February 16, 2020 at 5:26 AM

I think the Dems will have a brokered convention and Michelle O will be the nominee. Fun times ahead.

Holy Smokes February 17, 2020 at 9:48 AM

I think Bloomberg just wants to take out Trump then resign so Hillary can be president.

HappyPappy February 17, 2020 at 11:23 AM

Brandi –
Biden and Bloomberg? Mayor Pete can lick those guys, it’s Crazy Bernie The Commie who’ll be tough to face-off with.

Brandi February 17, 2020 at 11:33 AM

That’s OK with me, as long as it isn’t done legally or honestly and we don’t have to rely on the voters again.

Ricardoh February 15, 2020 at 2:42 PM

Lets see here Biden and Hunter are corrupt, Jim Comey is a leaker and a liar. Brennan, McCabe and Clapper lied to congress on multiple occasions. The whole upper eselon of the FBI tried to get Trump kick out of office. Not one of them yet to get indicted.
Yet we have every democrat and his brother thinking Roger Stone is a master criminal. The guy got swept into a phoney investigation and he lied. Which really had no consequences so he is going to jail for nine years but everyone involved in corruption and trying to keep Trump from becoming president skates. Democrats call that justice.
FBI lies to the FISA court ___ No problem
The DNC uses a foreign government to try and get goods on Trump __ No problem.
If you don’t see what is going on you are blinded by your partisanship.

double dzzz February 15, 2020 at 6:25 PM

Absolutely !!

Ozzie February 15, 2020 at 6:55 PM

What I don’t see is any proof of what you’re saying. More lies from the right.

Yogurt February 15, 2020 at 10:04 PM

None of those things are even close to the truth

Try again

james February 16, 2020 at 12:21 AM

When you say ” none of those things are even close to the truth’ then you back it up with nothing but tears and screaming at the sky,how are you emotion based retorts any kind of believable or even possible?
Someone decided just to type up lies when all they have ahead is wins for their party, why would they need to lie??Lies and denial is for the party that is losing, and will continue to do so.

Ricardoh February 16, 2020 at 9:18 AM

Ozzie and Yogurt you should think twice before claiming you are uneducated in what is going on around you.

Gittyup February 16, 2020 at 4:49 PM

The John Durham report is expected this summer and will enlighten us on Democratic abuses during the Obama administration. Some of those abuses are related to FBI FISA warrants obtained to spy on the Trump campaign because of a fabricated notion by Democrats that Trump was colluding with Russians which proved to be untrue.

But, never let it be said the truth deterred the Democrats from their head long charge off the cliff. They can’t even come up with a viable candidate to run against Trump and are more to be pitied than despised. They can’t seem to emerge from the hole they’ve dug for themselves because it appears they enjoy wallowing in its muddy depths. Nancy Pelosi seems to believe her most stunning achievement lately has been ripping up her copy of Trump’s SOTU speech. Looks like dementia has taken her, Schiff, and Biden by the hand.

Ozzie February 16, 2020 at 6:33 PM

What a waste of money. It keeps getting pushed back and will never be released because there is nothing. Its a WITCH HUNT.

Gittyup February 16, 2020 at 8:19 PM

Too bad you can’t be more original.

Cautiously Informed February 17, 2020 at 8:04 AM

Let’s see; according to the liberal democrats the stories involving their hero’s from the media are all lies. However, the stories regarding Trump, coming basically from the same media machine are all true. Rock on all you liberal Democrat Einstein’s!

Fred P. February 18, 2020 at 6:46 AM

ozzie and yogurt continue to howl at the moon – yet nothing of substance or proof is EVER produced.

You can’t use the DNC talking points as “proof” – as much as you’d like to…

Jojo Potato February 15, 2020 at 5:44 PM

Can’t wait to go out for a bike ride tomorrow morning. Even better than the Super Bowl, the Daytona 500 gets so many idiot drivers off the road. Really fun to ride on empty roads. Gotta get back home before all the drunks though!

Fred P. February 16, 2020 at 4:11 PM

Never seen so many self-centered cyclists as in the Bay Area….Running stop signs & red lights, thinking the vehicle code doesn’t apply to them.

The Fearless Spectator February 16, 2020 at 7:59 PM

Actually, if you have a really loud horn and time it just right, you can see a cyclist levitate. It’s really cool.

Brandi February 17, 2020 at 8:30 AM

The Senate passed the Iran War Powers resolution on Thursday despite the fact that it was opposed by war monger Donald Trump and restricts his ability to use military action against Iran without congressional approval.

Meanwhile, Iranian factions celebrated with a rocket attack on the U.S. Embassy in Iraq early Sunday and nobody retaliated, so I guess it’s working.

We can thank Lamar Alexander of Tennessee, Todd Young of Indiana, Mike Lee of Utah, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Susan Collins of Maine, Rand Paul of Kentucky, Bill Cassidy of Louisiana and Jerry Moran of Kansas for bravely betraying the Republican Party and voting with Democrats.

HappyPappy February 17, 2020 at 9:25 AM

Lemme see if I have this right; some extremely radical nut who barely worked a day in his life is running strong among ignorant voters who barely worked a day in their lives.
‘zatt right?

Original G February 17, 2020 at 7:19 PM

Can’t even begin to predict antics going forward of schumer, pelosi and her minions in House of Representatives.
Keeping in mind the thousand plus democrat seats lost, state and federal level during obama years, . . .
do wonder how many seats DEM will be lost this November.

Ozzie February 19, 2020 at 9:03 AM

You better hope they don’t take the Senate

HappyPappy February 18, 2020 at 7:13 AM

The difference between Bloomberg & Warren and Bloomberg & Sanders is;
Bloomberg is trying to buy the election with his money and Warren & Sanders are trying to buy the election with YOUR money.

Original G February 18, 2020 at 12:59 PM

Was up in antioch today, Buchanan / Gentrytown area.
Always an experience, homeless hammock strung between two trees next to the roadway, empty business buildings with boarded up broken windows, metal post and sign leaning against the building. Possibly used to break the windows. An nearby, empty bottles along with pocket sized snack food litter.

Few blocks on a street with an elementary school on it, a mid thirties male with monochromatic prison tattoos, right hand holding something at his waist . . . . . appeared to be his pants. As I passed, glanced over to see pants well down from his waist and underwear showing below back of his shirt.

SO glad my Son moved his family to Texas over a decade ago.

Kirkwood February 20, 2020 at 2:16 PM

Seems like if somebody like that attacks you, just pull his pants down and either run away or whatever you want. If you can get behind someone with an unzipped coat or jacket, grab outside the collars and pull the jacket down his back pinning his arms to his sides.

Anonymous February 19, 2020 at 8:21 PM

Tonight’s debate was won by Trump

HappyPappy February 20, 2020 at 9:27 AM

WHAT?… comments from the LEFT about last night’s debate?
Hmmm, can’t imagine why not, I found it extremely amusing.

Ozzie February 20, 2020 at 10:14 AM

Well at least one person watched it.

Original G February 20, 2020 at 8:49 PM

Wall street paper published an editorial evidently bemoaning higher wages having to be paid to attract and keep workers AND that foreign workers are therefore needed,
to protect company profits for share holders.

An isn’t it strange, party that pushes for higher minimum wages also wants open borders. Have to make the mega wealthy happy so those LARGE campaign contributions keep coming in.

Same socialist leaning party that supposedly cares about the little guy ? ? ? ?

Employer just agreed to new contract with largest raise in compensation for crafts people in a couple decades.
Been UNION like my Father before me, going on 44 years and I’ll be voting for Trump.
Trump won’t touch our Cadillac healthcare.

Ozzie February 21, 2020 at 8:16 AM

And your vote in California means what?
